i cracked my Samsung Galaxy s3 screen and the screen was on working fine but i bought a kit to replace the screen and now i get no display on my samsung galaxy s3 i can charge my phone and Green led pops up i can also hear the volume as i turn it up and i can connect to computer as well but i cant see no display? Also phone was rooted to jellybean 4.3 if that makes a difference.
Replacement screen i had bought Touch Screen Digitizer Glass White 4 Samsung Galaxy GT i9300 SIII S3 3M Tape New.
Samsung GT-I8260 Galaxy core
1) Samsung logo stuck screen
2) Recovery will only work when plugged with a usb cable to my computer
3) Did factory reset/wipe data cache/everything still samsung logo stuck
4) Kies 2.0 wont recognize the phone i think it has something to do with battery charger option turned on when you plug it with a usb(i remember from a thread someone said if you have it to charge when you plug it to your pc it wont work)
So is there any way i can still make my phone back to work?I tried with the pull battery off charge it and not working..Is the kies problem because of a bad usb cable?should i get another one?I was running officcial rom no custom rom just rooted the device

I have installed custom creed v2.0 rom on my android device. Recently i have replaced motherboard of my device. Under Warranty.
I Want To Flash stock rom on my device but i cannot see anything on my device so i am unable to flash my device.
Another problem is that when i enter download mode odin detects my device but when i try to flash the rom it says unable to open com port.

And i am not able to install any custom rom also. Every time i do get stuck on the logo of the device. And when i remove battery it gets back to the normal recovery mode. Now, I had got a problem with my device once when I restarted it. My phone just showed me the splashimage for about 2-3 mins and showed a blue screen, which just stuck to it. I removed its battery & restarted it, but it just booted up the same blue screen again.
I solved it by restoring my system.img by my previous nandroid backup. But still, I'm curious to know why and how the blue screen appears.

This was reported in the other thread about X8 Issues, but thought to start a new one to gather feedback from users. It's about the ''black screen'' freezing issue encountered by some users. I have had this several times since owning the phone for a few weeks, so it is a recurring issue. Problem: The phone hangs or appears to be shut down or become unresponsive suddenly. Pressing the hardware buttons doesn't help as the phone doesn't react at all. Solution: Take out cover and battery and restart.Observations: From my own observations, it's not actually a shutdown but a major freezing/hanging. Sometimes when it happens, I can still see vague shades of the display at an angle. After leaving the phone for a while in the pocket, the phone comes back to normal again. Not sure if this is true for all users with this problem. Anyway, gathering more feedback to see how prevalent the problem is, to evaluate whether I should take it to the SE service centre, or whether doing so will help at all.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm running Launcher Pro and only have one home screen.Earlier my phone was locked and I hit the unlock button and there is no unlock puzzle piece. The capacitive buttons don't work, I can't pull down the menu, but the screen is there.So I reboot.It works fine for a few mins but next time when I unlock all the icons are missing from my home screen except the 5 dock buttons.Capacitive buttons are fine, menus work fine, even the app drawer.I went to task manager and killed Launcher Pro and restarted it and everything was back, but I've never had a lick of trouble with it before and suddenly it starts.The only thing I can think of is that a little while ago I went under preferences and hid several of the apps from my app drawer (many of which are on my home screen) but I wouldn't think that would adversely effect function/stability.I've been running LP for over a week and it's not given me a luck of trouble before this, and then two issues in under an hour? Any ideas?

I got HTC flyer 3G from my friend as gift....that one was rooted and s-off .when i tried to flash custom rom it showed option like recovery,wipe/factory reset,.
After 2 days,I have installed AVAST Anti theft app and forgot the password for it...so i gave it to reinstall the OS...and it was back to normal...So I thought to put custom rom..and started to boot the device with SD card inside....BUT the recovery didnt show any options as it was shown earlier,the black screen appears with triangle mark with '!' symbol....

My Motorola maxx has a broken screen, there is no image at all. The device appears to power cycle, and when connected to win 7 there are 2 drives to explore, both appear as unformatted.
How to recover my files ? When I connect my new maxx the folders are also unreadable.
Is there anyway to delete this and just have the samsung logo on startup? i already deleted all the preinstalled ATT crap that comes with the phone with titanium backup (i just deleted them did not even backup will never use them anyway. after i did that phone seems to be better for me. also i did delete that annoying swish sound at startup but it also took away the samsung startup sound and i like that one. why is it that everyphone for att has there logo or some other att crap on it but the damn iPhone is the only phone clean without any att crap on it -_- i switched over from iPhone 4 could not be more happy. also is there a way to remove the att logo on the top of the phone im talking about the logo next to the speaker.

Is there any connection to the fact that I did ODIN to II5 before and the backup is from older build?
I have the screen timeout set to 1 min which works fine until I use the phone. When using the phone the screen times out (and locks) in about 5 seconds. This is a real pain when using voicemail etc and you need to interact with the keypad.

View 12 Replies View RelatedAt certain angles under strong lighting (basically when light is shining onto, but not reflected back off the screen) I can see a line that looks like it might be the edge of a circuit board behind my screen (when the display is off). Initially I thought it was a scratch, but on closer inspection, it's too thick a line, and much too precise and engineered looking to be one.
It's sorta this shape and runs across behind the screen, about 2/3 of the way up:

I can root a g1 with ease but I sort of got into trouble with the behold. This might sound stupid but do I need to root the phone before I install the port galaxy 1.6? I just did this.
1. download odin here Odin Multi Downloader v4.03.exe
2. download any Of BH_MAN ODIN Ready Rom's
3. download winrar ( google it) to extract the BH_MAN zip file.
4. follow these instruction

I wanted my default wallpaper to show up when flashed the rom, so i replaced the default one in framework-res.apk and deleted live wallpapers as i did not want the nexus live wallpaper to show up, i also deleted the live wallpaper chooser since there are no live wallpapers to pick from... I succeeded in getting my default wallpaper but my lockscreen wallpaper went blank/empty/black .I can still choose the lockscreen wallpaper from cm settings but How do I fix that?

Well i was a little bit nervous soo i add (probably) not good firmware (it was SANEI_N90_0208(2012-08-27) ->0208.img) And it has upgraded. But now i have a problem. When i turn ON tablet it just flickers 3-4 times i see desktop like this:
And thats all. I can't do anything more. If i hard reset tablet than try to press Vol + or - and try to run again LiveSuit - it doesnt go.Buttons don't work and it stops here everyhing.
