Some days ago I created a thread asking about random freezes/restarts.Well, Google Play is now freezing every time I try to check for an app, I've also realized the cache thingy only works for a while, I went on a trip, now that Im back the tablet freezes again and all.Should I just cache wipe everytime this happens, or just once? Is it safe to cache wipe really often?

I got a Brand new Samsung Galaxy Mini 2, great device, everything is perfect only problem I got is that when I'm in Google Play and want to look at the screenshots of an app, and swipe between them the device freezes, then vibrates and sends me back to Google Play, sometimes it gives me an error message, I have done like 3 factory resets but it doesn't fix it,
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust this night I've been using my sdcard in a normal way, browsing internet, downloading files when suddenly my phone couldn't boot after flashing bootanimation (zip made by trusted developer so that's not the problem). Now when I connect my SD Card to the phone it will either say "preparing sdcard" forever or just simply freeze phone after few seconds. I tryed to connect it via working adapter with my PC to back it up... After copying few files sdcards unmounts from the reader... I've tryed on XP and it shows some command errors while trying to copy files in a regular way. I was ONCE able to flash few zips via recovery in order to make my phone boot up again it worked. Now I'm scanning my SD Card using Norton Internet security 2013 - Paid version - not cracked, and the sdcard seems to stay mounted to the PC. Unfortunately after trying to copy files from SD Card to PC it just freezes explorer.exe and unmounts itself...

PS. 2 I was using swap partition, maybe my sdcard went dead from constant reads and writes?
PS. 3 Using linux I managed to copy 81 MB... then any copying froze but ubuntu didn't...
Sometimes when I want to use Google, it cannot find your location and then freezes. I have to power off and then power on to reset. My wifes phone has the same settings as mine and hers never does this. It is very frustrating. I have cleared the cache and history, etc. Anybody?

View 5 Replies View Relatedi had some old official Froyo firmware with Voodoo lagfix and Voodoo Sound on it. One day I've noticed that it now takes like 5-10 seconds after you press a power button for screen to turn on. It started to annoy me and I decided to update to latest official firmware. After I did, the problem I mentioned disappeared.
Anytime when i'm trying to make or accept a call phone freezes. Black screen and battery icon is all that is visible. However, call itself proceed and you can talk, but the only way to finish it is to remove battery (3G calls still works fine, btw) I've tried all possible firmwares from oldest ones to ICS... tried all cleanup options from recover menu, stll nothing's changed.
I have a Motorola Droid X and ever since I had Snapchat this has been an occurring problem. I would start up Snapchat, go to my feed, and try to open a video/picture it doesn't play and it ends up freezing the application. It also freezes when I ever took a video and try to send the vids. Sometimes the camera won't load or the screen would be in this green background.

My only problem was that I was not able to use Titanium back up and some other apps unless I was rooted, so after many attempts.I succeeded to root it and to be able to use it. Until the time I decided to upgrade my BusyBox to the latest version. After that I rebooted.my tablet with success but only for once because since then it freezes at start up.
I tried to unlock my HTC Acquire or HTC Kingdom bootloader by following HTCDEV instructions but I always get tot the part where it says "writing unlock key" or something along those lines, the phone freezes on this part and I have to wait until the battery dies or remove the battery. Why this is happening?

Almost every 24 hours when receiving a call the phone crashes (freezes) and it doesn't respond to any button (or combination). The only thing i can do is to remove the battery and insert it again. I have a two month old trio stealth pro tablet, and I have been having issues with it. For some reason it freezes on start-up after the android logo. I have tried combinations of keys to try to get into a recovery mode, but have been unable to do so. I could try to get this tablet back on its feet. I have looked at getting a different ROM, however I do not know enough to feel comfortable taking the risk and possibly bricking my tablet. I wonder if I can use live suite if the android system itself is not fully loading. Every once in a while ( once every few days) I am able to get past the screen and am able to do stuff on the tablet, but then I get constant errors, for example Google maps has stopped responding, contacts has stopped responding, and other random programs.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy SII, on O2 in the UK with their latest software release (Jelly Bean). Since the update the Jelly Bean the other month, it had been working like a dream, but starting this week, my phone seems to freeze whenever a call is recieved, or I try to dial out. The screen just goes black and the phone becomes unresponsive. Sometimes, the screen just stays black and I have to take the battery out to restart. At other times the phone will come back after between 1 and 4 minutes, after apparently rebooting itself (the Samsung welcome screen flashes up).
The phone will also now hang and fail to play media (MP3) files. Whether using the Google Player, the native Samsung app or VLC. Normally, the screen goes black for a minute or two and then the app will show the track as queued up with artwork) but it will not play and the app just freezes. Other apps, internet browsing and text messages works as usual.
I have tried removing any recently installed apps (only Dropbox was new recently) and I tried the factory reset. The problems persist after both.
I purchased this Zync Dual 7 Plus(Haipad HD 7 Zync Edition) (Zync Z930 Plus in the Manual) and became fascinated by the world of Android OS. My problem is I downloaded Chainfire 3D app from Playstore as recommended by my friends. After installing, it require a reboot so I restarted the tablet and then I'm stuck on the boot screen logo. I manage to get to the recovery page using ADB reboot recovery command but my tablet only has a power button. There's no physical volume buttons everywhere I looked so there's no way I can reach the "wipe data/factory reset" option. ADB Devices command can detect the devices but it is giving me weird serial number as 0123456789ABCDEF, Fastboot is not detecting the device. USB Keyboard and touch functions are not responding when I'm in Recovery page.
What I have done so far...
I've read several solutions and one of them is to flash the tablet using the ROM provided by Zync support. DL it and open the RockChip Batch Tool but the tool is not detecting my device so I can't upgrade.
Also DL the LiveSuitPack 1.07 but also, It is not detecting the device and from the instruction given, you need to hold volume button again which I don't have.
I am trying to root my Motorola Spice XT300, but when I try to root with SuperOneClick, it always freezes on step #4... USB Debugging is on, the SD card has been unmounted, and whatnot. How can I root my phone with SuperOneClick without it freezing.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy son rooted ny Galaxy Note 2 (SGH-i317). After 3D Launcher crashed it, I tried the Galaxy Toolkit offered by mskip. It seemed to work well. I set the phone back to completely stock. (in the hopes of rooting again). But now I get these messages
a) google.process.gapps has stopped
b) Contacts has stopped
c) Gallery has stopped
When I try to dial a number the phone freezes after the first number then suts down. Contacts open in a plain black screen.
I have a Garmin-Asus A10 that i wanted to change its font using Type Fresh app. When the font changed the app required a reboot,, but when the phone rebooted it became unable to boot after the garmin-asus logo anymore !!
I tried a hard reset using the volume keys pressed with the power button but it displays "**WIPE USERDATA**" on the top left corner and nothing happened.There is an option to hold the volume up key with the power button that displays " USB POLLING MODE " in a blue screen.
My phone now is not able to boot properly and freezes on the startup logo.
I have tried a few kernels, baked snacks #3 i think and kings...everytime i try to overclock past 113600 it freezes....any reason why? ive used different roms like cm6, myn2, and baked snacks 1.7
View 6 Replies View RelatedEvery time I try to install the OTA Froyo update, I get what appears to be an error on the screen. It's a triangle with an ! in the middle and a little android next to it. The installation never goes past 25% of the bar before I get this message. I tried hard resetting (clearing storage) and I still get this error. Anyone know if this is normal or what I'm possibly doing wrong?

Is there a specific reason mobile behaves this way? (Motorola Droid is not even able to mute the phone) however all other mobiles are able to do it.

I've had my Incredible for about 6 weeks and the screen freezes and random when I receive a call. I've done a search here but have read any solutions. The first time it happened I called verizon and they fixed it over the phone, but only lasted a few days. I took it to the store and the verizon "tech" guy put advanced task killer on it which didn't help, but now my battery doesn't as before.
