Is there a way to (app?) back up EVO incase it gets damaged or lost? If i lose or damage my evo is there a way to get the exact settings on my replacement evo? I had Palm Profile before that backed everything up to the 'cloud'.

Anyone else have their HTC Desire back button getting damaged. The metal appears to be lifting and getting damaged. Tried to push it down so it does not catch on anything, but it does not seem to help. Its always in a case and has no damage........on the phone to HTC support at the moment and sent them picks. Waiting on a reply at the moment.

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust got me a Guomi F3 (in Chinese, 国米 F3) and I'd like to do a clean install in English. I didn't know much about Android but I have been searching and learning to handle this situation I'm under.. I lost backup ROM and can't find a compatible one on the net yet.
This phone seems to be very new (and very minor) so I can't find a manufacture ROM or even manufacture's website..
Currently it keep showing an error message "System was damaged, The system will be unstable!"
The OS seems to belong to China Mobile (in Chinese, 引領3G生活) and it won't let me fastboot but I can access fastboot mode by ROM manager app.

on my EVO 4G (Original) I was a dummy and had the phone rooted and got carried away when deleting pre-loaded apps off my Sprint phone with Titanium Backup. I can't see any notifications since I apparently deleted something to do with the Notification Bar. Never realized how important it actually is. Can't see time, battery levels, 3G/4G/WiFi ect...

You may have to reformat." The first time I did reformat (after, as I thought, saving everything I wanted to my PC - turns out I didn't save photos ). This time, I'm wondering if it's really damaged or not. Anyone have experience with this? It seems kind of odd.

Firstly, i'v lost my Sony ericcson logo that should go in the middle of the screen on the homepage (I don't want to use timescape; I don't like it) so i'd like to know how to get that back. Secondly iv somehow managed to change my keyboard into Japanese or Chinese (or some language with symbols) Iv still got letters but my smiley faces have turned all weird on me and the keyboard has shifted slightly to the left and I keep putting commas instead of using the space bar - very annoying.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo last night I lost my end/power key function. The phone would not sleep when I hit the key, i would have to wait till it went on standby by itself. I tried some other things and realized that it was a software issue. I can hang up calles and I can bring it out of standby. it would go back into standby by hitting the key as long as I didnt unlock it. So I reinstalled 2.1. Well I got my end/power function back, but now my HTC clock/weather widget just says My Location. when I try to manually enter a city its not found. some major ones are listed but not many are not. GPS is on. Any ideas?

I upgraded my X10 mini pro to Android 2.1 today and I followed the instructions and the YouTube video EXACTLY step by step.I made a back-up before the update, with the updated Back-up & restore app.Now the Android update is done and i've tried and tried but I can't get my contacts back. Every time I run the restore function of Back-up & restore it tells me the restore is done, but when I go to my contacts list, it's empty.

As suggested, I have taken the backup using the backup & restore app.
After, the phone got upgraded, I could find only facebook contacts in my list.
then i went to View options and played around with all the check boxes and i could view the contacts.
how ever, i could see each contact having the numbers multiple times inside it.
so, I deleted the contacts and tried to restore them again.
the restore was successful. i can see the contacts in my favorites list. when i dial/receive calls, i can still see the contact name.
but, the contacts are not being shown in the list. i know this is a weird problem.
Ive lost clock/weather thing on my home page. Any ideas?

Anyone can suggest where to get and install back email app. Not really interested in getting from Market non-droid versions.
