I'm curious how many people are still on your original EVO? You havent traded one in or had to replace it etc.I'm still using the EVO I waited in line for on June 4th, and i still love it.

I am a noob to droid modification. I somehow managed to erase the original system off my droid in the process of installing the miui rom. Now the rom is the only thing that is running. It doesn't boot with a droid symbol and when I say restore to factory settings it aborts. PLEASE PLEASE help me out if you know a way to fix this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone Evo with the latest Unrevoked method. I then installed Rom Manager. From there I backed up the current rom I had on my phone (stock evo). I uploaded a custom rom. I hated the rom. I then tried to revert back to my original backed up rom. It didnt work! Now im stuck. How do I get back to my original rom? I dont care about being rooted. Just want the original Evo Rom Back.

recently my keyboard has been changing from swiftkey back to the original android default keyboard without me changing any settings. Then i have to go back into settings and re-tick Swiftkey before i can select it again.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis morning, I was trying to clear memory on my phone so the battery would last longer. I went to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications, and I started going through the list and pushing the "Clear Cache" button. I pushed in on "Settings" and then the screen cleared and went back to my home screen, where the background was some random picture I've never seen before. It didn't recognize my memory card for me to change the picture, so I had to take it out and put it back in. Now, all of my notification sounds are this random song, and when I go to change the notification sound (for gmail or text messages), there are only the ones I have created in the options list; all of the original sounds that were on the phone before are completely gone!

I turned Lockpicker off by accident and now it wants me to put my old password in. I have no idea what it is. I'm on attempt #10/10, and I don't want the device to erase my data.I can't turn Lockpicker back on without getting back into the menu system. Is there any way to recover my original password? I would've thought it'd automatically be the same as my Exchange password, but that's not working. Is there any way to refresh the number of attempts I have?

For example handcent sms had new update that's getting a lot of people saying its "force closing", "slowing phone down", and adding cheeky "charges for some new crappy feature" when the app is meant to be free. I've seen this with many updates people not being to happy, so again, can I update an app and then get the previous version back if I'm not happy with it?

I rooted my EVO yesterday, using unrEVOked, it did not want to install until i removed HTC Sense from device manager. I rooted the phone for the wifi tether, which worked. I then decided to install CM6, so i made a backup image using nandroid, and followed all the directions for that. CM6 did not want to install until in installed PC36IMG.zip. I found out that none of my contacts were there and needed to install GAPPS, which i can not find a file for that (all links seem to be broken). Now i want to go back to the original HTC rom, but still have the phone rooted.
*PROBLEM* When i go into the restore in nandroid it starts to run but then gives me "Error While Flashing Boot Image".
How can i get back to the stock HTC rom ?? Another issue is that when the phone is plugged in it no longer sees it as a mass storage device, and i can not see the SD card.
I have tracked down the original rom for the Tattoo
and i was wondering how to flash it on to my device??
only real experience i have with flashing is Odin on my Galaxy

If I go to Personalize/lockscreen wallpaper I only get to choose from album pictures but in Home Wallpaper you get to choose from a Wallpaper Gallery. Why is that and how do I get the original background back or any other nice background pic.

I have a hdc mtk 6572 and I recently bought the battery from the original s4 in Phonehouse, the problem I have is that the phone is not charging the battery to 100% bone phone reaches 100% charge but really this half of its capacity because when the phone is 100% you remove the battery and put it into a unique and puts s4 having 50%.
What I have tried is to remove the battery batterystats.bin being 100% real (loaded with original s4) I have also tried an app which detects that the battery is 1000mAh (in the original 2600mAh s4 the detected so is no battery problem) this app it says you can modify the kernel mAh (which I do not think). The application is Battery Monitor Widget Pro
To summarize a bit, the phone does not detect the original 2600mAh battery so no load to 100%.
The Inc has been pulled for quality issues not parts shortages. The same crap is going on in EVO land as well. Many defective units and now an OTA update that bricked 100s of phones. HTC has a real problem on there hands with these handsets.Has HTC Pulled The Incredible For Flaws?

I envy the moto droid's SMS / alert notification tones, and want them on my Pre! I did a search and found the actual droid ringtones, but I'm more into getting the alert tones.

The case below came with my Sprint HTC Mogul 3 years ago and it's the best case I've ever had, i used it with the Mogul, Diamond, Touch Pro, and now with my Touch Pro2. The TP2 is stretching it already so I know I'm going to need a new case. Just wondering if there's a case out there that has the following features:
-magnetic enclosure
-no swivel
-horizontal orientation
-small flap (easier to flip open)
-holes at the corner or middle (to easily push the phone out of the case)
