I upgraded my LG Optimus One from it's original Froyo 2.2 to the newer Jelly Bean 4.1. The upgrade worked well but now I cannot get on the a mobile network, I cannot connect properly with Bluetooth and I cannot even download apps. My phone has become completely useless. Is there a way I can get it back to it's original 2.2 format?

Factory Reset doesnt reset the kernel ofc.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone has froyo 2.2. I downloaded 2.2 from the thread on this site to update manually. I want to downgrade to factory 2.1 When I place the 2.1 update back on my phone and hit update I get the following message:
Install Form sdcard
Finding update package
Opening update package
Verifying update package
Installing Update
E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip (Status 2) Installation Aborted How can I downgrade to 2.1 if I get this error? How do I fix this?
Anyone else tried this, all the links for the downloads I need are for a PC and i cant find a way to open them on my macbook pro

View 5 Replies View RelatedEver since I got android 2.2 a couple of days ago, I've been having this problem with my text messages where I'm not getting a text until hours after someone ends it to me. I never had this problem before I download 2.2 so I don't think its just a conisidence that it started immediately after I made the upgrade. I want to downgrade back to 2.1 and see if that solves the problem. how would I do this? Would the process be the same as upgrading to 2.2 was? Where would I go to get the 2.1 file?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am tryibng to downgrade my Hboot from 0.93 to 0.8 and am following this guide:[HOWTO] Downgrade Froyo (2.2) to Stock 2.1 (ANY HBOOT | WIN/LINUX/MAC | ROOT) - xda-developers The reason I amn doing this is because with Unrevoked I get a Validation Error Backup CID Is Missing or words to that effect.I understand that downgrading to an earflier Hboot version would make Unrevoked work and I can then root my htc desire.This is where I have a problem:

Then it reboots my htc desire and a white screen with skateboarding androids shows up, from there in the instructions it tells me to push up for flashing if i do that it goes to the nerxt option which is sim lock and I dont think that is what it is meant to be.If I boot into reocvery the phone freezes at a screen pic of the phone with a gtriangle and exclamation mark and so I take the battery out and reboot that way. Please can someone explain where am I going wrong here?

For those wanting to root, you may want to wait for unRevoked 3.2. It is supposed to be 1-click root and requires no downgrading.

It failed, haz i found out, because the updated firmware was for the optimus one p500 and not the p504. Ive been able to find the p500 and the p509 firmware but no luck with the 504. Where i can find factory rom for it? Or a custom rom for it even? As long as it works again, i dont care what version or type of rom is on it.

Its pretty nifty so far, but honestly, it'd look so much better if I could add this widget button that opens the taskbar/start menu onto my dock. When i put headphones in phone just look like phone not regonize it and when u playing music sound still come from phone speakers.
Similar problem was in rom with CM9, [URL] .... but when u use headphoes with build in micraphone sound going to headset ( must be jack with 3 black lines on it ) and all is ok in CM9
But its not work in CM10
I read post about CM10 for optimus one family phones, but my phone is not in that list. [URL] .....I tried Wired Headset Routing.apk but still no answer from phone.

I'm definitely a newbie with Android. Today, I looked online for overclocking my LG Optimus F3, and I found this thread "[MS659][F3] Freedom Kernel Overclocked" (I'm a newbie xda won't let me post links yet). It said you could achieve a 1.4 GHz overclock (my device has a 1.2 GHz processor). So, dummy me, I got all excited and flashed the MS65910c firmware to my phone like the thread said I needed to have (I didn't know that that would switch my service providers as I had Virgin Mobile). So, I'm a little confused still... Can I still have Virgin Mobile service with MetroPCS firmware? If not, I want to restore my device back to Virgin Mobile firmware (LS720ZV6). The problem is, I am also a little confused with the flashing firmware thing. Can I flash .zip files instead of .kdz files (I couldn't find LS720ZV6 .kdz firmware files on the web)?
