If I need to return my phone before the 30 days are up and they are out of stock, will they still honor the return policy and just call you when they have one available or will you have to stick with the phone that you have?

My current contract expires with Cincinnati Bell tomorrow. I want to get the Incredible but I don't want to keep my current carrier for another month. I was thinking that I could just pickup the Motorola Droid from Best But for 19.99 and return it later when the Incredible was in stock. Do they have the 30 return like the Verizon store? Also Walmart has them for the same price so does anyone know their return policy?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI know that we have the option of purchasing an app and supposedly if you uninstall the app within 24hrs u will not be charged. However there are some apps that I would love to try like the keyboard apps and find what best suits me and return the others. So my question is has anybody done this and did you receive only charges for the ones you kept when your bill came? I had a friend who had left his phone with his girlfriend for a day and when he got his bill he was getting charged for game he did not order or ever play so it was a hassle (3hrs on the phone with sprint) to get the charges dropped as they were recurring charges every month, he dint have a problem with paying the initial download as that was his fault for leaving his phone with his girlfriend.

I like the eris a lot, mostly because of it's size and the senseUI, but a part of me yearns for the larger, sharper display of the moto droid. Now, I've noticed my eris is starting to chug slowly to do things like typing, changing apps and I'm not sure if it's just because I'm running a bunch of stuff at once or what, but its making me feel like I'd rather have the powerful processor of the droid as well.But, what if I get the droid and decide that I liked the eris better. Will I be stuck with the droid or can I return it and go back to the eris? I guess what I'm really looking for is an explanation of verizon's return policy and perhaps some feedback from those of you who switched from eris to droid.

My question is, if I root my EVO and then have some sort of hardware issue that would possibly require a replacement or repair of the device by Sprint, can I restore it to it's pre-rooted condition such that Sprint or HTC cannot detect that it was rooted? Or, if I root it, should I just drop the repair insurance for it, because I am basically jumping off the insurance cliff when I root it?

I do not mind loosing my root, franco.kernel or twrp, i just want to be able to get the new updates that are being released from google, and OTA if possible. it is super important to me that i don't loose my apps and data.

I want to return to the latest official Samsung ROM (whichever that is), so that i can then do some comparison benchmarks before moving to the latest GAOSP. I am a NOOB and don't really know how I got Baked Snack. It's really a pretty sweet ROM but I'd like to go back to stock soon so that I can get the OTA Froyo update when it is officially released.
All of this stuff scares me but it really is awesome at the same time!
I have a Note 3 Bell Canada and have not touched it at all other than the OTA update from 4.3 JB to KK 4.2.2. I of course read the woes and pro's of KK 4.2.2 after I did the update!! grin! and do not like the restricted access to my SD card folder creation file transfers etc and want to go back to JB. "A", can I go back with Odin and a stock Bell JB for the note 3, and have it all back like I did before the update...."B" What about my trip counter etc? Will that be effected?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have had the DHD for 4 days now, and i am still undecided as to weather i should keep it or not. For me the bad points are:
- Its weight, just seems too heavy for something which is on me constantly
- Battery life - Barely lasts a day with average use, 65% of which went on powering the huge screen
- Its size, is it just too big? Especialy as if i was too make use of it and watch a movie
for example, i very much doubt the battery would last long enough for me to get to the end.I realise these are a lot of personal preferences but was just looking for a bit of help deciding. I am tempted to return the handset and downgrading to the Desire and saving myself month.
My eris has that "scrolling to the left" thing. I have not other problems. Is it worth returning under my year warranty or it that just asking for other problems? (from what I have read about some returns) and will it happen again with another phone? Somebody mentioned the Chargers were the culprit while I read it could be a software problem? I can deal with the scrolling left when plugged in, but that silent call thing would drive me nuts.
