Is it possible? I want to get rid of root, return to stock recovery, stock everything, so I can start fresh and start over. I don't know if it's possible. Is it? If it is, how do you do it?

I of course read the woes and pro's of KK 4.2.2 after I did the update!! grin! and do not like the restricted access to my SD card folder creation file transfers etc and want to go back to JB. "A", can I go back with Odin and a stock Bell JB for the note 3, and have it all back like I did before the update...."B" What about my trip counter etc? Will that be effected?

When I first used metamorph I didn't realize I really had no way of going back to stock because I hadn't backed up my rom backed up before hand. I did back it up before I switched to velocity but it still has R1L on it.

My question is, if I root my EVO and then have some sort of hardware issue that would possibly require a replacement or repair of the device by Sprint, can I restore it to it's pre-rooted condition such that Sprint or HTC cannot detect that it was rooted? Or, if I root it, should I just drop the repair insurance for it, because I am basically jumping off the insurance cliff when I root it?
I've been given a HTC Sensation Xe with beats audio trouble is it came with custom firmware Cynogen Mod 10.2 jelly bean 3.2 installed . I would like to revert it to a stock Htc ICS rom.

My phone died today, and once i put it on the charger and booted it back up it was frozen completely. I restarted the phone and still the same thing. The screen never shuts off and then drop down menu is trying to come down. I get no feedback from any touch of the screen and occasionally i will get a bunch of random vibrates back. No i do not have an ATK.

I haven't had a problem until tonight.
I was using the stock browser on MySpace, finished what I was doing, logged out and used the back key to get back to the home screen, which I always do. I could never get back to the home screen, the farthest back it would take me was to the original MySpace login screen and I had to hit the home key to get back to the home screen.
When I now try to open the browser, it acts like it is loading, I see the status bar, which loads all the way, but other than that, the screen is completely white and stays that way - the whole screen is white and never does anything.
Could this have been caused by MySpace or maybe a browser issue that happened to occur while I was on MySpace?
I have cleared cache, cleared all data, rebooted a few times, force stopped it, killed it with advanced task manager and everything else I could think of.
Has anyone else notice the back/return button not being as responsive? I have a screen protector on at the moment but noticed some issues prior to it as well. Is there a way to adjust sensitivity for the bottom buttons?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've set up a horizontal scrolling system to move between 5 different Fragments, at the moment pressing the back button on the phone/tablet will exit the app. This happens on all Fragments.
getting the back button to move to the first fragment. So Fragment 2, 3 , 4 and 5 will all move to Fragment 1 when the back button is pressed.I've been looking into Fragment transactions but I can't get them to work, I guess I just don't understand it that well yet. Maybe it's not the correct way.
I have the horizontal scrolling thing set up in the usual way. Each Fragment has it's own Java file, there's a Fragment pager adapter. based within a FragmentActivity.
I received a used handset from ebay (for a fantastic price!) and it has an outdated version of Galaxo ROM on it. I want to return to the latest official Samsung ROM (whichever that is), so that i can then do some comparison benchmarks before moving to the latest GAOSP. Can anyone help me with a couple of questions?
1) How to return to a stock ROM from Galaxo ROM?
2) Where can I obtain the latest ROM and which is it? Intended use is in UK.
3) Does anyone have any idea about when the next GAOSP (full) Beta will be?
PS: I have never done this process, so please humour me and give me detailed instructions ..

Today I accidentally removed one of the short keys from the home screen and I'm not able to get it back to it's place. To be more exact, it is the messaging short key which is located on the bottom bar of the screen. The other ones (Phone, Contacts & Applications) are still the, but when I'm trying to return the messaging icon back to the bottom bar, I always end up with the trash can over the area where I'm supposed to place the icon.What can I do, How do I get the icon back on the home screen?

While this ListView is being populated (through an AsyncTask), an indeterminate progress bar is shown.However, assuming that I am an impatient user and I press the BACK button, the progress bar is cancelled but I am left with a blank screen. I have to press BACK one more time to go back to the MAIN activity.I would like the app to go back directly to the MAIN activity by pressing BACK only once. Can somebody point me in the right direction? I am thinking I should call finish() somewhere but I don't know where to put it.
