so i was on the phone talking to someone and when i hung up my droid died but i didn't think anything of it because my battery was dead anyways. however i put it on the charger and tried to boot it up it wont pass the screen with the three little green guys. whats going on? i already tried a hard reset aswell

Installed thru ROM manager, looks like it went thru backed up and installed ok, but now I am hung up on the screen that shows the Sapphire instead of the Droid eye.

i just stopped it at 42%...everything seems to have been restored from the nandroid restore. so i guess titanium is just to be used when your loading a custom rom and not a rom you have backed up?
I bought an Eris off craigslist and didn't think about calling in the ESN first. Obviously it was a scam and the guy reported it stolen 15 minutes after I paid him $275.i heard there are some loopholes around this. Anyone know how to get it activated again?
why after ive made a call to someone and hung up, my phone will dial another of my contacts, this happeneds quite a lot and sometimes I dont notice it has happened, not good at 3am when im calling someone who has work in the morning.

View 2 Replies View RelatedLooking for a little help with email.I have a feeling I'm doing something wrong and need a little guidance. I currently have Gmail and Yahoo! accounts (more concerned about my Gmail). On my iPod Touch, I easily got them both into the iMail program, very quick and easy to do, seamless usage, etc.On the Eris, this is much more challenging for some reason. I figured the HTC mail would be about the same, but doesn't seem to be the case. I'm currently using the Gmail app for Gmail, which works, sort of. Not the most user friendly app. I can't seem to find a setting to check the email at intervals, have to hit 'menu' and refresh to bring in new mails. As it turns out, I have to do the same to get the app to connect and send mail as well. Seems like a lot of unnecessary steps.In addition, I can't seem to view my 'tasks.' However, I can do this through the mobile Gmail website, which almost seems more user friendly and easier to navigate.The other deal is the contacts, but I think I have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get this to work as well. My Gmail contacts won't sync as I have too many phone contacts. At least this is what I am able to assess from reading through the web. If anyone has any thoughts on this.Then there's the whole Yahoo! email thing. I have seen a couple posts I may try once I get the Gmail working correctly. Seems the Gmail should be seamless, must be missing something here.Email has been around for some time, hard to believe this takes any effort.

1. The application Flexilis Mobile Security (process com.lookout) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
2.The application Google Maps (process com.google.android.apps.maps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
3. The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.Also when I try to open "settings" I get an error message for that as well as "phone".also do not have service! I think I killed my android!
I just did the factory reset and now cannot send, and probably receive, sms messages. I get a SMS Error: General Problems. Cause Code 34 Error Class 2. I did a second factory reset in hopes that the error would go away but it's still happening. Does anyone know what I should do?

Since being upgraded I have noted that both my gmail and yahoo mail is not syncing on any regular schedule. If I wake phone it seems to sync but won't really check mail based on sync schedule I have set. Sometimes 2 or mores past 1 hour schedule I have set. Any others out there.

I was in the habit of installing multiple applications from the market before rebooting, but started having problems with the phone not working and getting other error messages so I now try to reboot after each install. I just tired to install and run advance task killer (ATK) twice and after each reboot I'd get at least 2-3 errors. If I uninstall it and reboot all seems to be ok. Same happened with Bloo and an AK-47 app (game).

Nothing loads and I get a popup that says: "Attention, A server error has occured. Retry, or cancel and return to the previous screen." It's also fairly intermittent, sometimes I get this error, sometimes not. I've not seen this before yesterday.

I did the manual update to 2.1 yesterday and everything's great except for one issue.I have a ringtone set for my wife so that I know when she's calling but for some reason since the update it plays the default ringtone for her.I've tried deleting her contact and then manually adding the contact back, I've tried changing the ringtone to something else and then back to what I want but the problem persists. Please help, this is really frustrating.

View 1 Replies View RelatedDid wife's Eris to 2.1 tonite. She was on PRL 51807, prior to 2.1 after 2.1 and *228 option 1 and 2 she was back down to the 51776 that I am currently on. Prior to the *228 she didn't have the sign in error, tested with reboot and also airplane only mode. LOL seems to be the error. Don't know how to get it back up to the 51807.

View 6 Replies View RelatedThere is a date calculation error in the Contact app. When I press the People icon, then long click a person and select Edit Contact, scroll down to the birthday field. If I entered the date 11/12/1935 and select Done. the date shows in the Birthday field 11/13/2009. I select the Birthday again and the date is 11/12/1935.
With some testing If I place the year on 1945 or later, the day stays 12 but if I select 1944 or earlier the day changes to 13.
My wi fi isn't working it has found our connection ever since I turned it on now it doesn't. I am sitting right next to the computer but it cannot find it. I uninstalled 360 camera because that is the last app I installed. It was working fine untill I did the update. Than it did a force close a couple of times. That was yesterday than when I turned my phone on this morning it can not find the connection and the letter icon that shows you have mail is not up in the left hand corner of the phone. I really don't want to do a factory reset if I can help it.
