Some apps do not show up when I search for them in the Android Market. Does anyone know why this happens on the Droid Eris and is there a way around it?

Is there a way to clear the search history in the market search engine?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a little question, perhaps it's quite easy, but I've been looking for it for over a week now.
When I search on the market for a specific application, say "shazam", I get a message;
Suggestion
- Make sure all words are spelled correctly
- Try other keywords
- Try less specific keywords
However in the top bar it says
"1 result for Shazam"
But the result isn't showed. I have this problem with up to 9 search results.
I'm using a HTC Hero. Any suggestions on this one?
Is there a way that you can delete the list of searched items in the Market? I seem to remember a thread to this effect, but I couldn't find it...at least for the Eris.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to connect to the Market, it says "A network error has occured." In the notifications bar it has the 3G icon, and I'm able to use the browser without any troubles. Also, in the Google Maps app that comes with the phone, I don't see any map. I just see a grid with a blue circle with "Your Location" in the center. I'm was at the Verizon store yesterday because whenever I tried to call someone it said that my phone wasn't authenticated, and when I mentioned these two particular problems, he said that once my phone was authenticated everything should work.

View 19 Replies View RelatedIs there anyone that knows how to contact the m:" " dev to generate a certificate (or whatever is needed for the droid eris on 2.1) non of the m: apps are showing up in the market and I really miss playing vampires and racing.I even have tried using appbrain to sync the app but since it works off the market it just disappears when it shows up for the install. Any thoughts here on how to get these apps working on a 2.1 Eris?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm running 2.1 v2 ... yes v3 is out now but I just BARELY got my phone all sorts of set up how I want it seems like v3 leaked right as I got done, Eff.Anyways, here's a quirky little issue. There are some apps that I cannot find in the market that use to be there in 1.5, whats with that?.. although there are some apps in the 2.1 market that are there that never were there in 1.5, like bluetooth file sharing app, Torque bluetooth vehicle engine diagnostics, etc.Looking for skype in the market, it's nowhere to be found from what I seen on the vzw moto - Droid commercial, it's suppose to be there. There's a few apps that I can't think of at the moment that I know are in the market but don't show up on the market of my phone since I updated it,is anyone else experiencing something like that?

Raging Thunder game Theres a pt.2 but aso not available. More icons paid Latest swype. to name a few. is there anyone else that has this prob? I emailed an app dev, about this issue and he replied "for some reason your phone doesnt allow you to list copy protected apps after updating." then suggested i contact market/google support. i went to the link and no email. just a link to FAQ. Maybe this supposed 2.1 official from htc leak isnt the %100 complete version. If so oh well, there would be a rom updated for that one as well if thats the case. I am pretty satisfied w/ the currrent build. I think its great.

View 12 Replies View RelatedHad a quick question - Did the update yesterday morning with no issues other than I can not find some of the apps I used prior to the upgrade. I can find them in the market, but when I try to use my phone to download, it can not find them. Note: I used Astro to back up most of my apps on the phone, these couldn't be backed up since they were marked private. And they didn't display in my downloads either after the upgrade. Digital Clock Widget: Silent Time: If I use my friends phone (same version prior to my upgrade), no problem finding these apps. Suggestions? I could always downgrade back to the previous version, but I was having some freezing issues that I hope this upgrade fixed...

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have seen a lot of posts saying that people once they rooted they lost access to some of the apps they had with android 1.5.This is an HTC hero rom that was ported over to the eris that I am running right now. With this rom which is running 2.1 you will get access to the protected apps on the market (the apps that come up missing). Read the known bugs section though. Included is an app that circumvents the power down hang and I actully like using it more then shutting down the phone the convential way hope this helps. People running eris with 2.1 don't have access because it has not been officially released yet.
