Jan 25, 2010I know a lot of people have been having trouble with YouTube. I was experiencing these same problems. When i first got the phone YouTube worked fine, and then i started experiencing the following message. "Sorry, this video cannot be played".However i found that when i cleared my search history the videos would then play. For those that don't know how to do this. In the YouTube Application: Menu>Settings>Clear search history.You don't have to exit the application after clearing your search history but you may have to go back a page and then re-select your video.This has worked for me time and time again.

Jan 6, 2010A buddy has an app on his non-hero phone that is voice activated and it will pull local directory assistance from the net.I have searched for an app like this, but I cant find anything.It is like a local phone book or directory assistance online.We needed to find a liquor store and he said ABC into his phone and it gave us all the locations within a 30 mile radius.Anyone have any idea of a Hero app that does the same thing?

Now, after theming, the search button does nothing from the homescreen, but does still work while in applications, the browser, the market, etc. I am running launcher pro, deodexed w/ revolution.

I installed gesture search last night and now one of my few gripes with the phone is solved.
