HTC Incredible :: Way To Erase Market Search History?
May 26, 2010I finally found a way to erase the market search history and I thought I'd share with you all. Just download the free app "History Eraser". Install, select "google apps" then clear market search histories. All nice and clean after!

I have not been able to locate a way to do this, anyone figure it out? The browser and the main menu history is easy to reset, but youtube and marketplace seem impossible.

Apr 21, 2010I am pulling out my hair trying to figure out what to do to get my Live Wallpaper to show up on the Android Market for a Moto Droid with the 2.1 OTA update. It shows up and downloads just fine on Nexus One.I can only think that it has something to do with the AndroidManifest.xml file contents. I tried all combinations for <supports-screens> including not having it at all. I tried including/ excluding the <uses-feature android:name="android.software.live_wallpaper" />.I don't like releasing my app over and over trying to debug this.

Jan 25, 2010I know a lot of people have been having trouble with YouTube. I was experiencing these same problems. When i first got the phone YouTube worked fine, and then i started experiencing the following message. "Sorry, this video cannot be played".However i found that when i cleared my search history the videos would then play. For those that don't know how to do this. In the YouTube Application: Menu>Settings>Clear search history.You don't have to exit the application after clearing your search history but you may have to go back a page and then re-select your video.This has worked for me time and time again.

Mar 19, 2014Id like to transfer the trackid app history from my xperia mini pro to my moto g.
Ive tried it with titanium backup, but the app crashes on load using the moto g.
I've googled this to death and cant find much.
The app on my xperia was built in to the phone and seems to be developed by gracenote.
There is a Sony version on play store which is virtually the same but updated and slicker looking.
Ideally I'd like to use the new app, using the history from the old app, but have read the databases are incompatible.
I've looked for the file that holds the history but cant find anything.
As a last resort, I'll start again with the new app, but would like to extract the history from the old trackid on my xperia and save as a text file. I dont really want to have to type /write down the list manually!

May 16, 2014When I looked at my phone this morning [Moto X, 4.4.2] I saw that the Google search bar at the top of my home screen has changed. It's hard to describe, but it looks like a spotlight. The spotlight starts underneath the microphone on the right side of the search bar and it shines on the word 'Google' on the left side.

May 13, 2010If you already know how to do this, I apologize. I just thought I'd let people know there's an app that actually successfully erases the market history! I found it last night when I was trying to find a way to delete my "Frequent Calls" list (Worst thing ever!). It's called HistoryEraser. It successfully erased my entire Market History. It also resets frequent calls, google maps searches, call logs, and browser history. Enjoy.

In the past there was a "do not save searches" setting you could select in preferences, but it doesn't exist now.
