Jan 4, 2010Is there a media player that will allow you to view video clips from the Iphone on the Eris? My son has the Iphone . He can view my videos sent by email but I cannot view his sent to me.

Dec 1, 2009When others send me a MMS video the video does not play. It shows up as a still image with no audio. I tried taking a existing vidio that I took from the phone and sent it to myself. It did the same thing? When I go to save the MMS it says there is a .jpg file and a .qcp (audio) file?
Does anyone know what is going on any why I cant view MMS videos?
I am using Handset SMS. When I go to the MMS program that came installed it is doing the same thing?

Only problem is, once I hit play, it opens up the screen and seems like it's playing, but it's stuck on a screen grab of the first screen.

Apr 7, 2010I have just created and iPhone web app, which has some x264 (mp4) video files on it. When I link directly to the file on the iPhone and the user taps the link, the video player is loaded and the video starts playing. Using the app on an Android phone causes the browser to download the video instead of just playing it. Is there a way to force a video player to just boot up and play the video not download it?

I would even go as far to say that the iPhone video is really bad. Not surpisingly, he declares iPhone the winner because it is 30fps and not 24fps. Personally I couldn't see the difference between the two speeds.

My husband has an Instict and sent me a 20 second video of our daughter and when I tried to open it, I got a photo that said "Video too large to view on this device". The video is not that large so I'm not sure what's up.Is there anyone else that is having this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it? We send videos of our kids all the time and I hate to think that I can't do that with a "state of the art" phone.

Sep 5, 2010I have a video that was sent to me at my gmail account and it was sent by a Black Berry. The video played on the BB but when I tried to view it in the message from my phone, I could not even download it. In the email, it has a paperclip with a point to the right, and the name if it is VID 00028.3GP (262kb size). I could not do anything with the attachment and when I touched the paperclip icon, it wouldn't do anything. I forwarded the email to another person and she could view the video- from her iPhone.
So, that's my dilemma and I hope you can help. By the way, I am a Verizon user and my Droid 2 has Android version 2.2. If you need anything else, please let me know. If you want me to send the movie to you for troubleshooting, please PM me and I will. It's just the winning touchdown to my University's game today and I don't mind sharing it- because it was awesome but I'd like to know why I can't watch or download it.
