HTC EVO 4G :: Video Received MMS Errors / Video Too Large To View On Device?

I've only had my EVO for 4 days now but I can't open any videos sent to me via messaging. My husband has an Instict and sent me a 20 second video of our daughter and when I tried to open it, I got a photo that said "Video too large to view on this device". The video is not that large so I'm not sure what's up.Is there anyone else that is having this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it? We send videos of our kids all the time and I hate to think that I can't do that with a "state of the art" phone.

Im using Eclipse created new android project.First thing i added to the menifest xml file two lines:

Now i tried to play a video file .3gp from the internet youtube link via my android device ! not emulator. And it worked! But when i tried to play a video file .3gp or .mp4( i converted the mp4 from 3gp ) its not working. Im getting error "Cannot play video Sorry, this video cannot be played"
Tried to play with the link to my device wich is: I:DCIM100MEDIAVIDEO0030.3gp or .mp4 or tried this: I:/DCIM/100MEDIA/VIDEO0030.3gp with "" like: "I:/DCIM/100MEDIA/VIDEO0030.3gp ";
I tried to remove the I: but it didn't change anything.This is the main code im using to play the video files on my device. And there some lines i marked with // wich i used to play from the internet and im not using now.

I have a problem with a video that I am trying to upload or share.I can share via facebook or gmail, but am stuck right now because it says that the file is too large.It's about 2 min of video, so I don't know how big that is since I cant find the actual size anywhere.Any idea how I can get it off the phone if I don't have an sd card reader?I guess I could mount the phone to my laptop and copy to my regular comp, but I was hoping there was an easier way to do it?

Here's the current code, which throws an OutOfMemoryError on the byteBuffer.write(buffer, 0, len) line when transferring large videos:

How to record the received rtsp video streaming on android client.
I need record the received video by a android smartphone via rtsp streaming (DSS 6) in mp4 or yuv file format.
I can do this using a pc/linux client but i do know how to do this on android.
Also, can an i access a android device using ssh and execute vlc, mobo or mplayer on it? How?

My first Smart phone, and was wondering if anyone else has come across a problem I'm having. It came installed with the youtube app however when i go to the youtube website on the web I cant view the video, but I can view it through the app. It also does this on other sites as well (and no it's not porn sites)....lol. Can anyone point me in the right direction in getting this fixed.on the video's it says something to do with java

I have a HTC velocity 4g running on ICS 4.0.3, rooted. Unfortunately, when i tried to view my recorded videos in gallery, it keeps on crashing saying "Unfortunately, view video has stopped". but i can record and take pictures with no issues, and also i discovered the stock music player also crashes, also saying " Unfortunately Music has stopped", I just bought this phone from a pawnshop. I tried hard resetting the phone 3 times but still the error appears, and also when i bought this phone it is already rooted.

Does anyone known of a good video editor application or pc software for 3gpp video taken on the x10 mini all i want to do is crop about 15 secs off a video i took but can't find one, downloaded 1 of andriod market but was just a player and not a editor like they claimed. why these features not installed standed anymore like they where on yesterdays bricks.

I am using the Alcatel OT-918d (stock rom, root access enabled) and while playing videos in the browser, I do not get an action prompt to choose from the available video players and browser plays the video using "default video player".
The so called "default video player" has been uninstalled though. Have cleared cache, clear defaults, clear data for the browser but still do not get a prompt to choose a video player while playing videos from the browser.
Also installed the "Default App Manager" to check for the default video player. However, it indicates no defaults to play any videos (either from file or streaming videos).
(If I play a stored video from phone or SD card, I do get the prompt to choose a video player. But do not get a prompt if playing any video in the browser.)

I'm creating 3GP videos with the Android - however, when the 3GP files are posted on a site, the same Android phone cannot view it back. (The file works on the iPhone).
What is right way to encode/resize the 3GP video so that the video player on Android can play it back?

When others send me a MMS video the video does not play. It shows up as a still image with no audio. I tried taking a existing vidio that I took from the phone and sent it to myself. It did the same thing? When I go to save the MMS it says there is a .jpg file and a .qcp (audio) file?
Does anyone know what is going on any why I cant view MMS videos?
I am using Handset SMS. When I go to the MMS program that came installed it is doing the same thing?

I am trying to play a video via streaming in my android application. Video playing functionality works good but whenever changes the orientation of the phone...a white screen comes over the video view and audio keeps playing. And after turning back to original orientation, video starts playing normally..(with proper video and audio.) what should i do?

I am trying to develop an android application which will be able to record a video and send it in real time to a remote computer. The computer then will play it live. I have managed to establish a connection between the android and the computer, and to record a video on the android phone. My problem is, how will I be able to send this video to the computer? I watch a lot of anime from Nwanime or TV series from Couchtuner When I open these video webpages on Android I have to nagivate like on a desktop browser (tiny play button and maximise button and seek bar) On the iphone the video would open in the default video player.
How can I enable my Android device to open these videos with a default video player like mxplayer for example?
*note. Mxplayer is already my dafault player, so if I open an actual video file it plays in mxplayer. My problem is with web video

I have a problem with my Onda VX610W Deluxe using ICS beta1, when i use video player like MX Video Player or mVideo Player - everything runs fine but with additional subtitles that have wrong character set and sometimes wrong sync, subtitles from MX Video player or mVideo are fine but Onda`s Hardware decoder overrides screen and inputs additional subtitles it looks like this:
