Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 : Can't Upload Pics From Phone To PC / If I Insert Memory Card
Jul 22, 2010Any reason why I can't upload pics from phone to PC, even if I insert memory card? It wanted me to install 'media Go' which I did and still no joy. Any sugestions/advice? many thanks in advance, It's probably something simple (like me) lol

I tried to download ActiveSync but it said it wasn't compatible with Windows Vista, which I have as the OS on my machine, so I'm kind of stuck, but I'm not that technical so there might be something really obvious that I'm missing.

Jun 14, 2010I have recently encountered a problem uploading photos to Facebook from my x10. Until three days ago uploading photos using the share option when viewing the photo worked fine. Now however when I attempt to upload a photo I get an error message saying an error has occurred when uploading the photo and the browser then shuts. Has anyone experienced the same problem and able to offer a solution?

Apr 26, 2010I am trying to put some of my videos and pics from my pc that were either taken with my old Nokia N95 or bluetoothed to me. I have transferred them across to my Sony Ericsson X10 phone via the data lead and my pc shows that they are there but they are not recognised by the phone and so will not show them. I spoke to Sony Ericsson UK and was told that i have to download a programme that enables the phone to play/see them. When i asked what programme they just said look for something on the internet. Sep 15, 2010I was surprised that SONY is not providing a software which enables the user to sync the Xperia X10 mini pro directly with your computer (e.g. Outlook).
After wasting a lot of time I generated an account at Sony webpage and managed all my accounts including "birthday" but now I found out that the

Jul 29, 2010So I did some modding (unfortunately) to the framework-res.apk file and it worked the first time and a few other times but then I changed something and now when I turn on the phone it freezes at the "Sony Ericsson" screen before the logo. What do I do?
I tried pushing the backup framework file but it says "failed to copy framework-res.apk to /sdcard/framework-res.apk: Permission denied
However, when I use adb devices, it does show my device as being attached.
So what can I do now?
I was also able to pull files...
Also tried manually putting the framework-res.apk in the sdcard and then using adb to copy it to the framework folder. Doesnt work. Saids that the directory cannot be open for read. I guess the device cant read the SD card until it boots up.

Dec 2, 2010I'd like to use my X10 to keep all of my contacts' postal addresses in instead of the tatty old address book I carry in my handbag(!) I didn't fancy typing them all into the phone, so thought I would use the Sony Ericsson sync and put them into the pc first via the PC Companion sync application, and set up the sync to transfer them into my phone. I have tried a test run adding only a couple of addresses to my contacts on the pc, and adding one to my phone, but when I do a sync, the addresses don't transfer either way. I know that the actual sync is working because I added photos too and they transfer....... I must be doing something wrong that is easily rectified?
