Jun 6, 2010Only 9 songs show up when I open the music on my eris. I added two new songs yesterday and for whatever reason almost all of them don't show up anymore. When my phone is plugged in as a disk drive the files show up when I look through my SD card on the computer, but not on my phone. It's really pissing me off, I've tried restarting my phone multiple times, deleted those two songs I added...nothing has worked. This phone has sucked since the update was released.

Oct 16, 2010Usually when I want to upload pictures to my computer I hook up my phone via USB cord and transfer them, that way I can edit them and what not. Lately though, every time I try to go into my "DCIM" folder (aka Camera Pictures) to transfer them my Windows Explorer freezes up and I basically can't do anything to transfer my pictures. I have dropped my phone in water but this was a few months ago and every thing else has seemed fine so far. Could it possibly be the SD card?

May 12, 2010I remember seeing this on the Motorola Droid page but, would one of you smart guys/gals be willing to post a sticky on how to UPLOAD their OTA upgrade, should they receive it?All I know is that you're supposed to postpone the actual installation and save it to the card. or something. IF by some chance I happen to get mine while I'm home, and IF someone else doesn't beat me to it, I'd be more than willing to upload it somewhere (megauploader?) to share. That is, of course, providing I'm actually home when it happens.Or, maybe if it's as simple as saving it to the SD card, I could copy it and email it to one of you more tech-savvy individuals if I'm away. Or, maybe someone else would be willing to do the same. Perhaps one of you mods would be nice enough to post instructions in a sticky? After all, Murphy's law dictates that those who get the OTA first are also the least likely to know how to share, even if they want to.I'm not a COMPLETE idiot, and could figure it out with some basic instructions (I don't want to wreck my own chances of upgrading if I fudge it) but I generally don't screw around with cellphones too much anymore. Also, please forgive me if this info is "readily available" but it seems like this information should be a sticky.

Aug 24, 2010Apologies if there is a thread about this already (couldn't find it)... I used to be able to upload a mobile pic directly to Facebook and it would show on my wall/in my friends' feeds. Lately, my pics go directly to my "Mobile Pics" album, and do not show on my wall unless I publish the entire album again. I've checked my Facebook settings, and everything is set to 'Publish Content to my Wall", but my mobile pics continue to get uploaded directly to the album and do not publish. Anyone else having trouble with this? I'm not sure if it's a problem with the phone, the FB app, or my Facebook settings.

Oct 1, 2010I'm having trouble transferring songs AND playlists from iTunes to my Samsung Captivate. I've tried a lot of things and every one of them just transfers over the songs from the playlist and not the actual playlist. I really like the Music Player Samsung has and I want to use that one, but nothing seems to transfer playlists to it. I've tried doubletwist (only transfers the music, not the playlists), iTunes agent, (same) dazzboard (doesn't work at all), and songbird (so buggy and slow, impossible to use... gave up) There has to be some way to get that player to work with iTunes or to import everything from iTunes and use it with the Samsung Music Player.

May 21, 2013I have a Galaxy S3. I download music from iTunes and sync it on my S3 using WMP. The thing is, once the songs are on my phone, they will not play through my earphones but through the speakers instead. It does that only with the songs purchased on iTunes. In my car, iTunes songs play through the car speakers but at a very low volume, even if both the volume in the car and on the phone are at max. Now what to do?

May 13, 2010I'm so fed up...
I open the music player to start playing music and it starts frantically skipping through songs and going crazy. I restart and it still happens.
This also happens with podcasts in google listen. I'll be listening and all of a sudden it'll switch to another podcast.
I can't figure out why this is happening. On maybe the same note. i restarted and had the same music player issue, then went to Taskiller Free and found that all my apps were running...???? This is 2 min after a restart.
What's going on here. I'm on stock Eris, no rooting.
Motorola Droid 2 :: Upgrading / Copy Songs With SD Card
Nov 11, 2010I picked up my Droid 2 this past Saturday, and immediately ordered a 16GB Transcend Class 6 micro SD card for it. To install it, I plugged my Droid into my PC (Linux machine), un-hid all the hidden files, copied them to my desktop, then disconnected the Droid, took the stock card out, plugged the new card in, and copied the files back. After a reboot of the Droid, everything seemed OK.The problems started while copying songs onto the Droid. The copy process froze, and ever since, the phone had problems with this card. It's sluggish, and hangs on shut-down.Is there a proper way to upgrade to a new card that I don't know about? The guys at the Verizon store didn't have any ideas.

Mar 24, 2010I could not find this particular problem. i just switched to 2.1 and had a bit of trouble restoring my contacts with my backup pro. long story short, i imported most of my contacts back into gmail, did a sync but my contact card is inaccessible. it just reads loading with the working circle icon. i realize its not at the top of the list of problems but i would like to have all my info there in the event of losing the phone or otherwise. anyone else encounter this issue or have i popped?
