I was wondering if there is any app out there or a way to edit the music you have put on your sd card so you can make it a certain point in the song for a ringtone.I set my one song as my ringtone but it just starts from the beginning is there a way to make it start and end where I want? or an app for this?

i picked something as the default (ringtones) and want to be able to pick from my music for notification sounds. how do I switch it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a bunch of custom ringtones, some mad in Ringdroid, some that I have had...all MP3. The ones I had are in a Ringtones folder on the SD card, those by Ringdroid..well I haven't checked yet.
My question is seeing that the music app scans the whole SD card, will I end up playing my ringtones with the rest of the music I play?
1. Do the apps i purchase in the market HAVE to billed to my vzw bill?
2. Is pdanet good? What's the best without rooting? If pdanet is.it, how do i buy the full version?
3. What's the best/easyiest way to add music/ringtones to my fone using windows 7?
I have Nonsensikal ROM installed on this Eris and occasionally make my own mp3 ringtones. But they never show up in the default list of available ringtones. Is this by Eris design?I know how to add a custom ringtone but was just curious as to why I cant include it in the default listing area rather than having to go to my music gallery.

View 9 Replies View RelatedUsing handcent and/or the stock client, when I receive an attached ringtone as do 'save MMS' on the sd card it is stored as qcp and not the native mp3 format the user sent.
Any ideas on a workaround, or how to use the qcp as a ringtone instead?

Is there anyway to change the color for the different Calendars? I have my Outlook calendar showing as a green and my google one is blue. I what my Outlook to be a purple or something. I've tried Pure Grid Calendar...no go...

View 10 Replies View RelatedI've looked for other threads about editing Swype's dictionary but have found none, so will ask here: I love using Swype Lite (1.16.12.5228) but have found the dictionary and the little word options popup to be less than helpful. I've tried to add words individually per the instructions saying to add each letter carefully then press the space bar, but the new word doesn't seem to be available the next time. And when I do try to enter 1 letter at a time it automatically adds another letter and spaces to each of the letters I'm trying to tap in. I would love to know if I can access Swype's dictionary through the SD card or wherever, and go in there and edit the shit out of it. Anybody know how, or if it's possible?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Eris. I have Zedge. I have a certain notification sound that I downloaded from Zedge. It shows up on the list, but there is apparently no sound associated with the item in the list. I manually downloaded the notification to my phone to see if it would play on the phone at all...and yes, it does. But I can't select it from the music player to be a notification sound...all that lets you set is the main phone ringtone...and I don't want it for that.
I hooked up the phone to my PC and made sure all the files were in their correct and happy places...notifications in notifications folder, ringtones in ringtones folder, zedge in zedge.
How do I set different folders for my ringtones and mp3's? I put some ringtones as well as mp3's on my phone. When I open up the music player app, it shows my ringtones and mp3's all together. How do I keep them separate? I don't want my ringtones playing in my music app. The same issue applies to my pictures. I have some small pics that I'm using as my caller ID contact pics, I have some camera pics, and then a few wallpaper pics. I"d like to have them separated when I open up the Albums app. How do I do this?

I even went into 'manage applications' and found the widget and cleared the cache and data and the dang thing still shows the same two contacts that I want to get rid of. This widget is pretty useless. Can't put in multiple instances of the same contact (like one for cell and one for home), yet you also can't seem to just set it to take you to their contact info when you click on a person - you have to choose a default.
