I have to frequently use an international calling service where I have to go through several prompts to make calls. Is there an app which can take into account the gap between the prompts and can automate the inputs. E.g. wait for 2 secs, then enter 1, then wait for 1 second and enter the phone number etc.

When I send group SMS messages, how can I know which number receives the message. If the contact has more than 1 number (which is generally true) to which number is the SMS sent to? As there's no primary setting for sending messages.

Even after turning all possible vibration options off (i.e. haptic feedback and 'vibrate when you type' in text input), the vibratory mode on the phone dialer still doesn't go away. When I press the keys on the phone dialer keypad, it still vibrates. I have no idea whether it is a HTC feature or a problem with my handset.

The only widget I can find is "voice search" but this seems to not be dialing specific and may choose to search the web for you etc. My question: Is there a dialing specific voice command widget, if not how do I do it properly?
I have a parrot bluetooth kit which usually prompts a phone to ask for a voice command. The desire although linked, doesn't seem to respond.
Is it possible to withhold your number on the Desire so that the receiver does not see your number or your ID when you call them? Can't see this option anywhere in the Settings.

However, when I go to the dialer page the phone shows both phone contacts and SIM contacts resulting in multiple duplicate contacts from where I copied from SIM to Phone when I first got the handset. Does anyone know how I can do the same as the 'people' app and get the dialer to only show phone contacts?

In my contacts, I've got it set to only show Phone contacts, and I've hidden Sim/Gmail contacts. I've also linked all my contacts with their Facebook profiles. So in my contacts list (People), it's fine. However, when I go to messaging and start typing a name in the To field, there's a duplicate of everyone. As far as I can see, there's no similar "hide SIM" option etc for the texting/calling, so I'm just wondering how to sort this? I saw someone to try deleting all phone contacts and just using your SIM contacts but to be honest I'd rather not do this, since I like to just use my SIM contacts as a basic backup if you get me.

I had flashed to a LeeDroid 2.1 ROM earlier and noticed that it had the vanilla contacts and dialer in addition to the normal Desire Sense one. So I know it's possible. Lekky has also a link to the Nexus gallery app, so this gives me even more confidence that the contacts and dialer app must be available somewhere too.

In doing so...if a user places their finger on the area it may hit it multiple times thus getting new coordinates within the area that plays the sounds...thus playing the sound twice. We want to know how we can disable the default dialer so that it doesn't listen for missed calls, incoming calls and also it doesn't gets launched by other application for making calls instead our application gets launched. Only our dialer application should be listening on it. We want to use same format as existing content URIs supported by default dialer in our own dialer application. Is this possible?
