I was having a look at tghe lanucher pro beta app which is OK but sense is better. Anyway, I uninstalled it and now HTC sense is force closing all the time and I am unable to get to the app settings to see what the problem is. get me to a place where I can sort this out. Will I have to do some form of hard reboot?

But I like HTC Sense- I also like the Stock Androids 3D (Star Wars style) app menu and the cool fading animations between applications/programs and the home screen/s.
So...... What would be perfect is an app that let the normal HTC sense (7 panel +Leap view) home screen run, but with the stock android animations and app menu...
Does such a thing exist?
I guess that a few relatively simple adaptations to the 'Stock Android Launcher' could provide what I'm looking for.
I have Facebook for HTC Sense setup in my "Accounts & Sync" section. When I hit the SYNC NOW button there, it seems to sync ok.
However, when I open the PEOPLE program, and select the ONLINE DIRECTORIES and then select FACEBOOK (I assume this is the HTC Sense facebook integration), it says connection error.
Is there some setting I'm missing somewhere?
I'm being logged out of of facebook continuously. Receiving a 'Facebook authentication failed. Please re-enter your facebook password' notification.

As most of you know that after downloading it, pressing the home button gives you the option of which home screen launcher that you want to..well.. launch..either HTC Sense or Launcher Pro. Well this morning I picked Launcher Pro, but accidently clicked the "don't ask me this again" box before that, so now I'm stuck on Launcher Pro and can't get back to my, or any, HTC Sense launcher. I've gone all through my settings and can't figure it out. I'd like to either get back to my old HTC Sense home screen, get to the DEFAULT HTC Sense homescreen, or get back to being able to have the option to pick which one I want to launch.
View 2 Replies View RelatedUp until today i have had no problems with my Desire, then i tried to sync my phone with HTC Sync and the phone couldn't see the software. done the usual and checked and double checked i had the right settings, also un installed it and re installed from the SD card and it see's it but won't allow apps to be installed from my pc 80004005 is the error i get when clicking on the application installer in HTC Sync. I have tried the updated HTC sync from HTC website and that won't even install to my PC, i get an error when clicking the .exe All this was working fine yesterday and now somethings wrong Any ideas guys?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI`m kind of a noob with android an have messed my phone up , basically had a custom rom running leedroid then sold the phone, so decided to reset it then after resetting, the phone ended up in a boot loop so put it in recovery and tried installing the leedroid rom again but cant get it to install or any other rom need urgent help lol as i need to get this thing sent of the phone was on t-mobile but i got it unlocked can somebody please help . Would like to just get it back working again as i have tryed for around 15 hours and still no luck! i get this error file_getprop: failed to stat "/system/build.prop": No such file or directory E:Error in /sdcard/2.1 Update with Root.zip (status 7) Installation aborted.

Dec says launcher is on the Rom but when I open launcher I see it , then hit the home button and it goesback to sense. Is there a way to set it as default?

This is one of the first issues that I have had with the dinc besides the short battery and the intermittent signal that everyone seems to be experiencing. i hope they have an update soon and with any luck some of that sweet 2.2 goodness. let me know if anyone else haas experienced this.This message is being sent from my Incredible not using Tapatalk!

Does this mean I can't use launcher pro on sense froyo? If not, does someone know of a stable ROM they're using that does allow this? View 12 Replies View RelatedI've always wondered, why hasn't the HTC sense Launcher (Rosie) ever been ported to other devices, from other companies, without means of a ROM port? After all, a vast majority of other launchers have been ported - Touchwiz, Xperia eDream, LG UI, Pantech UI... The list goes on really.
So why no love for Sense? I've never heard of any version of Sense ever being ported. Is the underlying framework stuff too complicated or something?
I really like Sense but I really want to try out the transparent widget mods for launcherpro plus (which I already bought). Is there any way to get the launcherpro widgets in sense? I know the opposite can't be done, but I figure since I paid for the extra widgets, it would be cool if I could use them outside of the launcher. And I know, launcher pro is awesome...I have beautiful widgets and I know that is almost the same but the weather animations are a pain because they come up on any screen and in my apps and I have to tap to clear them and then I can scroll. With sense I just unlock and scroll and I like that alot better right now.

I really used the stock sense widgets that toggled 4g, wifi, BT, etc, but am unable to find them with the new home launcher. Am i unable to use the previously installed default widgets with this launcher/home? How about the default weather/clock combo, i can't seem to find a way to add it either. I liked the simple look of the Launcher Pro icons along the bottom, that's all i really wanted changed.
EDIT - Found it, will need Beautiful Widgets or something similar
I am wondering if I can disable sense and get a feel how the stock launcher looks and go back if I don't like. I did a google search and I was sifting through a bunch of hero posts.

I recently installed launcher pro beta (which I love) and removed home++ which I had been using for some time. I've also installed the latest update for launcher pro.As part of this change I added some live wallpaper. Funny thing is that my phone (droid) will just spontaneously revert back to the background I was using with home++. The live wallpaper will work for a short time, then I'll turn my phone on and, voila, old background. I can't even find that background anywhere on my phone.I have no idea why my phone is doing this and how I can delete this rogue background from replacing my live wallpaper.

It keeps restarting itself after every 10 sec. Everybody is giving me advice to Hard Reset / Factory Reset to my device. But my Major problem is that I have some very very important (almost 900 pics) saved in its internal memory. These pics are very very important for me and I do not want to loose these pics at all.
I am unable to take backup because its does not recognised by my or any other Laptop due to it restarting issue. This is the reason why I am not giving my mobile to any technician because no one is giving me any guarantee about my data.
