HTC EVO 4G :: Installed Launcher - Back To HTC Sense Launcher
Jun 27, 2010I downloaded Launcher Pro a few days ago and am loving it. As most of you know that after downloading it, pressing the home button gives you the option of which home screen launcher that you want to..well.. launch..either HTC Sense or Launcher Pro. Well this morning I picked Launcher Pro, but accidently clicked the "don't ask me this again" box before that, so now I'm stuck on Launcher Pro and can't get back to my, or any, HTC Sense launcher. I've gone all through my settings and can't figure it out. I'd like to either get back to my old HTC Sense home screen, get to the DEFAULT HTC Sense homescreen, or get back to being able to have the option to pick which one I want to launch.

Sep 20, 2010Basically, I'd like to install the Slide Screen launcher on my Desire, but I don't know if I can switch back to Sense easily. Is there a way to do this, via a simple means, or by downloading a specific launcher switching app?
I'm not comfortable enough with Android yet to Root my phone, but if that is the only way, then so be it. (Although I doubt it is, what with the lovely customisation options we have at our disposal).
HTC EVO 4G :: Home Switcher Wont Switch Evo's Default Back To Sense?
Oct 28, 2010When i use Home Switcher to switch homes (htc Sense and Launcher Pro) when i go to the app and click use sense as default when i press the home key it still goes back to launcher pro..so when i use sense i need to try to not press home which is annoying! Also i have hand cent sms and i get a double notification. for some reason when i go to messages>menu>settings n go to unchecked received notifications i still for some reason get notifications from the stock. I even went to make sure its unchecked and it is!

Jul 25, 2010I downloaded launcher pro and switch pro apps. Then I installed a non-market app I got from xda (gallery3d if it matters). After installing that app, launcher pro required a force quit. Now I have my switch pro widget near the bottom of the screen on the home screen. When launcher pro reloaded and put back all my widgets, it looks like it sort of mirrored the switch app on the bottom, behind the dock where the phone and contacts buttons are. It's sort of half on and half off the screen. I can't long press on it, or interact with it in any way. I have tried reloading the switch pro widget, but that doesn't do anything. I have also tried restarting launcher pro, which also has no effect. Rebooting the phone also does not solve. Weird, huh? What do you all think?

Sep 15, 2010Just put the newest version of fresh on my phone. I cannot figure out how to set launcher pro as default instead of sense. Dec says launcher is on the Rom but when I open launcher I see it , then hit the home button and it goesback to sense. Is there a way to set it as default?

Oct 8, 2010OK so I have launcher pro plus as my home replacement, but I wanted to go back to the stock home launcher and I cant. I tried home switcher, also tried clear home defaults too, nothing has been working. I went into manage apps and neither 1 is set as a default, so I cant clear the default. I tried a force stop on launcher pro but that didn't work either. I don't wanna un install launcher pro bc I have it set up nicely, I just want to set up the stock home for fun and giggles.

May 26, 2010my sense launcher on my DINC just crashed on me and I had to restart my phone. Anybody else have this problem? This is one of the first issues that I have had with the dinc besides the short battery and the intermittent signal that everyone seems to be experiencing. i hope they have an update soon and with any luck some of that sweet 2.2 goodness. let me know if anyone else haas experienced this.This message is being sent from my Incredible not using Tapatalk!

Does this mean I can't use launcher pro on sense froyo? If not, does someone know of a stable ROM they're using that does allow this? I just rooted my phone today for the first time, and am getting the Froyo itch.

Apr 9, 2013I've always wondered, why hasn't the HTC sense Launcher (Rosie) ever been ported to other devices, from other companies, without means of a ROM port? After all, a vast majority of other launchers have been ported - Touchwiz, Xperia eDream, LG UI, Pantech UI... The list goes on really.
So why no love for Sense? I've never heard of any version of Sense ever being ported. Is the underlying framework stuff too complicated or something?
HTC Incredible :: Launcherpro Plus Widgets In Sense Launcher?
Oct 5, 2010I really like Sense but I really want to try out the transparent widget mods for launcherpro plus (which I already bought). Is there any way to get the launcherpro widgets in sense? I know the opposite can't be done, but I figure since I paid for the extra widgets, it would be cool if I could use them outside of the launcher. And I know, launcher pro is awesome...I have beautiful widgets and I know that is almost the same but the weather animations are a pain because they come up on any screen and in my apps and I have to tap to clear them and then I can scroll. With sense I just unlock and scroll and I like that alot better right now.

Jul 5, 2010I just installed Launcher Pro Beta, and am trying to "flavor" up my EVO. I really used the stock sense widgets that toggled 4g, wifi, BT, etc, but am unable to find them with the new home launcher. Am i unable to use the previously installed default widgets with this launcher/home? How about the default weather/clock combo, i can't seem to find a way to add it either. I liked the simple look of the Launcher Pro icons along the bottom, that's all i really wanted changed.

May 18, 2010I was having a look at tghe lanucher pro beta app which is OK but sense is better. Anyway, I uninstalled it and now HTC sense is force closing all the time and I am unable to get to the app settings to see what the problem is. get me to a place where I can sort this out. Will I have to do some form of hard reboot?

Jun 15, 2010I've been getting this error near constantly the past day whenever I hit the Home button, and when the ui is working it's extremely slow to switch between screens. I can get the error near 100% of the time by opening an applicatio, then hitting the Home button. Then HTC Sense closes, sits at "loading" for a bit, then the phone is back to normal, albeit slow, till the next time I hit Home.
I had been running a live wallpaper of the Earth rotating in the background, and notice it rotates fine for about 3 seconds, pauses, then starts again, so something is eating up the processor I'd think?
I've uninstalled all recently installed applications. Stopped the live wallpaper. Stopped Locale. Stopped background sync, then turned it back on. Installed a task killer to see if there's a common element (none). Tried leaving the battery out for a minute.

Apr 12, 2012I have searched up and down the web but can't find a way of making the HTC Sense launcher transparent WITHOUT changing launcher.
I have the HTC One X so if I use a different launcher now (ADW, Go etc) I get my desktop shorterned by the "Menu" on screen button.
How I can stick to the standard launcher but have a transparent dock?

Sep 15, 2010I recently rooted my phone and successfully flashed the CM6 ROM. I tried going back to sense (froyo 2.2) for 4G, and I believe my backup was corrupted or I did not back up correctly.
