I have just bought a Desire HD, and it refuses to download from the Market. I select an app and it says 'Starting download and goes no further. Is it something I am doing, or is there a problem with the market? I have never managed to download anything so it could be something I am doing

One woman says it takes her several "days" to successfully do it (I presume that means multiple attempts spread out over time).Can this be on my end? I upgrade my database on each rev - basically I retreive the user data and stick it in the new database that ships with my app. But I think the complaint is about something different. Has anyone else received comments about anything similar? I am concerned people uninstall my app just because of this issue,

When signing in to my Google account I get an error message that says something along the lines of "Cannot establish a reliable connection with server. There is a temporary error or your sin card is not provisioned for data services"

I have downloaded apps from the Android Market, but last night and today, my phone will get into a state where I will select an app to download, it will tell me to watch the notification bar for download status, and nothing will happen. If I select the app in the store to look at the download progress, it just says: "downloading...." with the animated bar, but never downloads. I tried turning off the phone and turning it back on, and that seemed to correct the problem for one download, but then subsequent downloads won't start up. I have barely installed any apps on it, and I'm not really sure what the problem is. Is this a known issue with the Android Market, or do I have something wrong with my phone? Has anyone else encountered this and know why it's happening?

I even uninstalled it and installed from market still no go.I have about 5 apps that just refuse to update and now i dont even have appbrain because it wont download it. View 7 Replies View RelatedI was having trouble getting an album icon to show up when transferring from pc to phone. I ended up trying to sync the album from Windows Media Player but it started syncing EVERYTHING so I stopped it. Then when I plugged it into the pc again it said I'd only got 1gb of memory on the card when I started it was 3.6gb. I've officially only put 6 albums on about 400mb in total yet spent 2.6gb. I'm assuming the tracks I accidentally synced are the cause yet when I open up the drive there's no sign of them. Anyone any ideas how or where I can find them & remove them?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am under the impression that Nandroid backup & restore completely wipes the system data and overwrites with a saved image of the Android OS with whatever was on the phone at the time of backup. I created a backup to my SD Card, installed an app (ROM Manager)--couldn't get it to work so I uninstalled it. I then did a restore on my previously saved backup and right after booting up, I see a notification, open it, and catch ROM Manager downloading again to, eventually, install itself.How does the market, or my phone, know that this app was previously installed? Is it saved to my Google account somewhere? Is the data stored on my SD Card? My Nandroid backup that was created without the app being installed shouldn't have this information still on it should it?

Occasionally it will download a app or two but then it just gets stuck and never will download anything. I'm guessing this has something to do with being on 2.2 then downgrading to 2.1. It is a google server issue or something on my phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently bought the remote for ituens app. The problem I have is, I cannot link my desire with my imac to use it as a remote. I have paired them via bluetooth but cannot connect them via wifi. I don't use a wireless router to connect to the internet because of security issues. Surely as the HTC is a wifi enable device and the imac is a wifi enabled device they should be able to talk to eachother without a third party router in between them.

Previously i used to download it successfully.
Up until yesterday, I've had no problem with downloading anything from android market, but now its seems nothing will work for me. I can access all the apps easily enough but when it comes to downloading them it won't work. I'm using my home WiFi connection. I'm also no where near my data allowance from orange. Anyone else had any problems?
