View 2 RepliesMy phone stopped charging consistently so I installed a new OEM charging port. The phone charges great now however it took a long time to charge. Now I get a message that says that there is no mobile network available. I have double checked that the antenna is attached and all else was a pretty straight forward swap.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to charge my phone with a broken charging port?
Will this work? Charger any battery with a Universal Battery AC Home/Wall Charger, Travel Chargers
Also, is there any way to buy a new battery cover for my phone? Motorola Triumph
My phone doesn't want to turn on anymore. What should i do? I tries multiple battery, but i think its the phone its self. Also my charging port doesn't work.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just called Sprint customer service about my rebooting Evo and after a visit to the store and a hard reset that did nothing, they offered to replace it for me but at a cost of $35.00. I have replaced 2 Pres in the past year and not once did I have to pay anything. Is this a new policy? Are the other carriers charging to replace phones under warranty?
View 4 Replies View Relatedthe charging port on the EVO has come loose. :-( It has a little more "play" more than normal. Downside is i have to hold it a certain way to maintain a charge. Times like this i hate. So my question is should i call sprint and cash in on my insurance? or try out the Pre / Wireless charging hack? Heck, Im not sure if i should even take apart my evo and see if I can fix it. How did it get this way? Well, having a car charger that has a Coiled cord will put some tension on it, especially if you are using it (Calls, Surfing, GPS). I have had my Evo since Launch with no issues at all, till now.
View 20 Replies View Relatedthere is a MSN widget so i can receive live instant messages. My friend had one on his nokia n900 and it was pretty cool. Also will the desire allow charging of the phone via a usb connection i.e usb port on a laptop/desktop computer?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an EVO on order with Amazon (early Oct delivery - ouch!), hoping to get one locally before then but at least I have a backup plan. I've been reading a lot about the charger port issues and the screen peeling/separation issues. Does anyone know if these manufacturing defects (assuming that's what they are) have been fixed or do new EVO's still run the risk of having these problems? I've had Verizon and AT&T before and it's always been relatively easy to get a new replacement device if the original had issues. It sounds like it's not as easy on Sprint so I'm a bit concerned...
View 5 Replies View Relatedthe last 2 days I've tried to charge my phone, it connects for about 2 seconds, then disconnects. i have to move the cable around, almost bending it downward, for it to register a charge. its starting to get really annoying because i have to make sure its charging for a little bit and sometimes have to prop it up so the cable is bent for it to charge before i can walk away. I just want to check on this forum before i take it to the sprint store or best buy where i got it.
View 3 Replies View Relatedsprint can't say "Its the users fault" because you know dam well its not. If you have a loose or broken port please post here and try to include your hardware version 2 or 3 and your build dates. Frankly im sick and tired of HTC and Sprint passing the buck about there faulty equipment.
View 49 Replies View RelatedI have a feeling my my X10 USB port is somewhat broke. It won't charge whatsoever via the mains or via PC USB cable. I have had to purchase a plug travel charger with the 2 prongs in order to get it working. Would the software have played any part in disabling the USB port on the phone - which a software upgrade or flash would solve or would I be looking at a complete USB port replacement on the Xperia?
View 1 Replies View Relatedso is it just me or does placing the port at the top of the phone suck? I mean it already spends alot of its life plugged in, and if I am in the car and want to use it it is a royal PITA...
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am wondering what the charging port type is on the droid? I just noticed that my droid car mount will slide onto my motorcycle TomTom mount. The problem is I wired my bike with the standard USB charger. The droid uses some different type of usb connector. What do they call it? Do they make an adaptor to go from the Droid connector to the standard USB connector?
View 10 Replies View RelatedProblem is that both charging port and battery and malfunctioning. My charger port has a mind of its own. Only certain chargers positioned in certain ways will charge it. I'm talking about brand new charge cords (no shorts in cord itself) that when plugged in will over work if I play with the port for awhile. Along with the problems actually getting the charging port to work, there is also problems with the battery. The battery has a terrible life using all of the battery conserving settings it drains like crazy. And along with that when I charge my phone with it off it will tell me fully charged many times but when I turn the device on I'm in the RED.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy charging cable doesn't seem to plug all the way in when pressed. The phone charges fine, but I am wondering if that is the normal fit or not. It is almost like the sliding door doesn't open wide enough.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI think that is for a malfunction of GPS fault driver. I wanted existing driver that is from Custom Rom / system / app / YGPS.apk replaced by the factory driver.
I have a Nandroid backup of the factory ROM (file: boot.img, cache.img, data.img, system.img and nandroid.md5).
But I do not know where this factory driver is located. How removed from Nandroid backup and put in a cell phone.

View 9 Replies View RelatedHaving recently switched to Android from iOS, I am still learing how to customize Android to get the phone just right... One of the features that I really miss is the notifications on the lockscreen. I have a company phone - and the security settings forces a PIN or Password lockscreen. I have tried installing a 3rd Party lockscreen that supports notifications (Such as LockerPro), but all it does is provide the new lockscreen in addition to the default one (i.e. I have to unlock "twice"). I would like the default lockscreen to be replaced by the 3rd party one.

2. Or/and maybe there is a launcher which shows all your apps not alphabetically but by date and also with ability to arrange the apps however you want?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAs you know, Twitter shut down Tweetdeck for Android, I was using a modified version by Modaco (Tweakdeck).
It was an old Twitter client, but it had the ability of putting all your searches in separated and unlimited columns.
So I had the basic colums: Timeline, Mention and DM, but after that I had like 10 searches!
My city name (So I knew what was happening anytime), one of my search was "nexus 4" so I had all the tweets in the world containing nexus 4.
You had add someone timeline as a column itself (If you didn't want to follow him or the timeline was very important). But now it doesn't work , app was pulled from the PlayStore.
I have installed a lot of apps and no one can do what Tweetdeck or Tweakdeck did..
I am using HYPERION Rom build 06 and I want to using on it lmodded touchwiz launcher from Creed v3.5. So I use root explorer and I delete default launcher and I was trying to install launcher from creed. But... It does not work. Still says that "application is not installed"... GT-S5360
