General :: Prevent Certain Apps From Closing During RAM Clear?

I am use CSipSimple for my VoIP calling and unfortunately, every time I do a Memory Clear (under the RAM tab), it kills nearly all of my programs including CSipSimple. I know that 2 apps that this action definitely doesn't close is my AVAST! mobile security and my Ultimate Rotation Control. I'd like to be able to make CSipSimple be immune to such "clears" as those two apps but I do not know how to go about it.
At the moment, I always have to reopen it after I clear and sometimes it takes a bit for it to reconnect.

My question was asked by someone else before but wasn't answered. I was wondering if there is a way to keep a program from being closed wwhen it is in the background. I am currently running cm6 and I have noticed that my aim app constantly closes.

i have an alcatel ot 983 just tried to root it and unlocked with codes provided by o2 uk everything was ok when suddenly many apps closed instantly after opening them . one of the apps not opening is the stock internet browser

Some apps seem to install to internal memory by default, and some to sd card if one is present.
Even more annoyingly however, many of the apps that default to SD card if you move them to internal memory MOVE BACK TO THE SD CARD when you update them.
Is there any way to prevent apps from automatically installing to the SD card? Or at the very least, installing to SD card is fine... but to prevent them from moving BACK to the sd card when you update them?

I am planning to factory restore my phone. I have purchased lots of apps from Google play store. I do not want all the apps to be downloaded. How can I prevent all apps from getting downloaded to my phone? There is a firmware upgrade waiting to be installed right now. is it possible to delete the firmware? I do not want to put that on my phone....

I want certain apps (games etc) to be exempt from Android's auto closing algorithm, or at least be asked for permission when the system wants to close an inactive app. Is there any app that can do this?

Today I was trying to download and update some apps via wifi but later I discovered that it was on mobile data and I received message from Operator/Carrier that I have crossed my data pack limit and using it further will be chargeable. Is there any way to stop or prevent downloading apps when phone is using Data Pack?

Certain apps disable auto-sleep while they're open.Is there any way to force my device (Nexus 7) to sleep in these apps after a certain time.
Example. I have a Nexus 7 in my dash and leave navigation running. When I turn my ignition off the charger turns off however the tablet doesn't because I left navigation on.

I use CyanogenMod 9 nightlies for Samsung Galaxy S II GT-i9100. I wonder if there is flashable zip or something, that adds "Clear All" button in Recent Apps multitasking screen, much like in Galaxy S III, that swipes out all apps from Recent Apps and closes them. Is there something like this, installable or flashable?

I've a problem that is recurrent in the Galaxy S forum... and maybe somewhere else!
When I do a backup with TB, it goes fine.
Then I flash a new rom, restore with TB. When app is restored, everything's fine, but when I restore data, every app is force closing... This is really annoying if I want to get back my apps settings...

I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy Note LTE and this phone is really getting on my nerves. Sometimes I am using an app halfway and it suddenly auto-close for absolutely no reason. Just to note, it's running on Android 4.0.4 ICS. GT-N7005
Maybe I should have bought an GS3 or something else other than this garbage.

I went to the menu where you can see how much battery you have left and what apps are using battery life. Google Maps and internet were using the battery eventhough I wasn't using them. I tapped on Google Maps and Internet and got an option to close the app so I did. But the apps didn't close.

just got evo after looking for a while. very happy and i think i get most of it. i noticed that when i open the browser and do some surfing and then close it. when i click on the icon to reopen the same page comes up. the same thing happens witth facebook. any ideas? how do i close the browser and have it reopen on the home page i have set.

I have a magic, maybe wrong forum...if so I appologize. Rooted with HofoION rom. Seems I have one task that I can not close. Maybe it is no big deal, but when I wanna taskill everything it bothers me that. Will not close. i dont know if i have a problem or this is just new or even if theres setting ai could change when i end certain apps in advanced task killer then i go back to them they are where i last off like in browser it would be at the last site i went to even though i ended the browser i dont actually like that it does this same thing in other apps such as my twitter and facebook apps i end them but when i open again there where i left off.

I use the back button to close apps (I hit the back button until I am back at the home page). However, when I open Advanced Task Killer, the apps are still listed as open and able to be "killed".

I have read a number of the posts on this board and tried to condition my new phone for best battery life, etc. and haven't added many apps yet. However a few of them keep crashing ALL the time and it's really annoying. Particularly Google Talk and Gmail, the native apps that I didn't install. I will open them up, press one button (on an email or a name) and then it will just close back to the home screen. It will do this five or six times in a row before it lets me use the app. I have been using task panel but have both apps on the "ignore" list so I don't think that should make a difference, and come to think of it it did that before I installed task panel. The phone is literally three days old.

Ive been having difficulties with the following 3 apps closing on their own while i am using them (not force closing, but more like someone pushed the home butt I am pretty keen with these devices but this is a problem that i cannot seem to figure out. i do not use any task killers, but i do use "startup auditor" that i have killing some stock apps like "news" and "weather" but i made sure to stear clear of anything that had "motoblur" or "google" in the title. Anyone else been experiencing this symptom with ANY apps, with or without a taskiller?

I open google maps and when i go to type in the search field, the program just closes as if i hit the back key. No force closes. I open maps again and sometimes i get to type more or less than the previous try. i didnt mind it as i didnt use maps all that much but now i use this more and still has this issue. I just got it for the first time today trying to post on facebook status as well. Im running CM 6.0.0 FRG22D. BUT i have had this problem since i got the phone even when it was fully stock, this has been an issue with every ROM ive used ..BB's, Fabs, CM, UD.. does anyone have this problem or seen it before ? i found one case in another forum but it was never solved.

I have an Activity X which is only accessible after you've entered a valid credential.
How can I prevent other apps from calling startActivity with an Intent pointing to X?
e.g. Intent intent = new Intent( this, ActivityX.class );
startActivity( intent );
Basically I don't want Activity X to be exported to any apps except my app.

I've had my htc incredible for a few days and I absolutely love it. However, I am less than pleased with the battery life. I run a good amount of apps and widgets and am sure this is causing the life to drain. I downloaded ATK in order to close apps when not in use, but I've noticed a strange occurrence. It seems that w/i 10 minutes of closing unneeded apps a bunch of programs that I have not been using open up. Is there any explanation for this? Also, is there a way to immediately close an app when I'm done using it rather than having to find the ATK widget?

I just switched to the Moment and I'm really digging it so far, except for the battery. I was wondering if anyone knows of an app out there or some settings that can prevent apps from loading automatically. Often, I find that apps like Sprint Nav, Sprint TV, Moxier Mail, etc. loaded automatically. I'm getting tired of killing apps all day long to save memory and battery. It seems like my Moment doesn't want to run with more than 30mb free cause it just keeps loading apps until it gets to around 26-30mb.
