i have an alcatel ot 983 just tried to root it and unlocked with codes provided by o2 uk everything was ok when suddenly many apps closed instantly after opening them . one of the apps not opening is the stock internet browser

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am use CSipSimple for my VoIP calling and unfortunately, every time I do a Memory Clear (under the RAM tab), it kills nearly all of my programs including CSipSimple. I know that 2 apps that this action definitely doesn't close is my AVAST! mobile security and my Ultimate Rotation Control. I'd like to be able to make CSipSimple be immune to such "clears" as those two apps but I do not know how to go about it.
At the moment, I always have to reopen it after I clear and sometimes it takes a bit for it to reconnect.
I want certain apps (games etc) to be exempt from Android's auto closing algorithm, or at least be asked for permission when the system wants to close an inactive app. Is there any app that can do this?

When I do a backup with TB, it goes fine.
Then I flash a new rom, restore with TB. When app is restored, everything's fine, but when I restore data, every app is force closing... This is really annoying if I want to get back my apps settings...
I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy Note LTE and this phone is really getting on my nerves. Sometimes I am using an app halfway and it suddenly auto-close for absolutely no reason. Just to note, it's running on Android 4.0.4 ICS. GT-N7005
Maybe I should have bought an GS3 or something else other than this garbage.
I went to the menu where you can see how much battery you have left and what apps are using battery life. Google Maps and internet were using the battery eventhough I wasn't using them. I tapped on Google Maps and Internet and got an option to close the app so I did. But the apps didn't close.

Maybe it is no big deal, but when I wanna taskill everything it bothers me that. Will not close. View 12 Replies View RelatedI have read a number of the posts on this board and tried to condition my new phone for best battery life, etc. and haven't added many apps yet. However a few of them keep crashing ALL the time and it's really annoying. Particularly Google Talk and Gmail, the native apps that I didn't install. I will open them up, press one button (on an email or a name) and then it will just close back to the home screen. It will do this five or six times in a row before it lets me use the app. I have been using task panel but have both apps on the "ignore" list so I don't think that should make a difference, and come to think of it it did that before I installed task panel. The phone is literally three days old.
View 8 Replies View RelatedIve been having difficulties with the following 3 apps closing on their own while i am using them (not force closing, but more like someone pushed the home butt I am pretty keen with these devices but this is a problem that i cannot seem to figure out. i do not use any task killers, but i do use "startup auditor" that i have killing some stock apps like "news" and "weather" but i made sure to stear clear of anything that had "motoblur" or "google" in the title. Anyone else been experiencing this symptom with ANY apps, with or without a taskiller?

I open maps again and sometimes i get to type more or less than the previous try. i didnt mind it as i didnt use maps all that much but now i use this more and still has this issue. I just got it for the first time today trying to post on facebook status as well. Im running CM 6.0.0 FRG22D. BUT i have had this problem since i got the phone even when it was fully stock, this has been an issue with every ROM ive used ..BB's, Fabs, CM, UD.. does anyone have this problem or seen it before ? i found one case in another forum but it was never solved.

I run a good amount of apps and widgets and am sure this is causing the life to drain. I downloaded ATK in order to close apps when not in use, but I've noticed a strange occurrence. It seems that w/i 10 minutes of closing unneeded apps a bunch of programs that I have not been using open up. Is there any explanation for this? Also, is there a way to immediately close an app when I'm done using it rather than having to find the ATK widget?
View 15 Replies View RelatedUntil yesterday if I had an app like Pandora or ESPN Radio playing/running when the screen kicked off the app would keep playing. However, now when the phone goes to sleep everything else gets shut off. I have not altered anything myself per se. Even uninstalled a few apps like AutoKiller [which I had installed for weeks and everything worked fine with it on and installed] but the problem persists and remains. This really perplexes me as I want/need these apps to play with the screen off like they did before. For the life of me I don't know why this is; nor can I find anything in settings to change.

I've debloated my sammy stock rom and installed the modified Youtube application. [URL] ......However this one keeps force closing. The same happens with the original application.
To debloat my rom i've used this CWM script (made by me) perhaps did i removed a bit to much.. [URL] ....
Logcat is attached. (in a lame .zip file because XDA cant accept .txt lager than 512 kb )
I've performed the next steps in attempt to fix it myself:
- Reinstalled the app
- Delete its data
- Wipe cache
- Wipe Dalvik
- Wipe data
- Fixed permissions
My Galaxy S3 just started this weird behavior. When I close down the camera app, the flash goes off for about 2 seconds. Very annoying. Is there a way to fix this?
Flash is turned off inside the camera app. I have restarted Android, but no difference.
