General :: Getting Apps From Market Directly To SD Card?
Jan 29, 2012So is there any way to get apps directly to the sd card because i've run into an app i want but it takes up quite a lot of space for the onboard memory it didn't have alot to start with an the problem i have is i can't uninstall anything on my onboard memory to make room to download the app so i need a way to get the app either to my computer to put it on my sd card or a way to directly download it on to the sd card

Feb 15, 2013I am use CSipSimple for my VoIP calling and unfortunately, every time I do a Memory Clear (under the RAM tab), it kills nearly all of my programs including CSipSimple. I know that 2 apps that this action definitely doesn't close is my AVAST! mobile security and my Ultimate Rotation Control. I'd like to be able to make CSipSimple be immune to such "clears" as those two apps but I do not know how to go about it.
At the moment, I always have to reopen it after I clear and sometimes it takes a bit for it to reconnect.

When I do a backup with TB, it goes fine.
Then I flash a new rom, restore with TB. When app is restored, everything's fine, but when I restore data, every app is force closing... This is really annoying if I want to get back my apps settings...

Mar 10, 2013I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy Note LTE and this phone is really getting on my nerves. Sometimes I am using an app halfway and it suddenly auto-close for absolutely no reason. Just to note, it's running on Android 4.0.4 ICS. GT-N7005
Maybe I should have bought an GS3 or something else other than this garbage.

Sep 4, 2010I went to the menu where you can see how much battery you have left and what apps are using battery life. Google Maps and internet were using the battery eventhough I wasn't using them. I tapped on Google Maps and Internet and got an option to close the app so I did. But the apps didn't close.

Jan 22, 2010I have read a number of the posts on this board and tried to condition my new phone for best battery life, etc. and haven't added many apps yet. However a few of them keep crashing ALL the time and it's really annoying. Particularly Google Talk and Gmail, the native apps that I didn't install. I will open them up, press one button (on an email or a name) and then it will just close back to the home screen. It will do this five or six times in a row before it lets me use the app. I have been using task panel but have both apps on the "ignore" list so I don't think that should make a difference, and come to think of it it did that before I installed task panel. The phone is literally three days old.

Sep 14, 2010I open google maps and when i go to type in the search field, the program just closes as if i hit the back key. No force closes. I open maps again and sometimes i get to type more or less than the previous try. i didnt mind it as i didnt use maps all that much but now i use this more and still has this issue. I just got it for the first time today trying to post on facebook status as well. Im running CM 6.0.0 FRG22D. BUT i have had this problem since i got the phone even when it was fully stock, this has been an issue with every ROM ive used ..BB's, Fabs, CM, UD.. does anyone have this problem or seen it before ? i found one case in another forum but it was never solved.

Facebook, Messing, or Browseing the web, I miss incoming calls, the caller (WIFE and others) goes directly to my voice mail, I have checked to see it the check box in the contacts section is check or not (the one that tells the contact to go to VM), and it is UNCHECKED, yet calls still goto VM, the even go to VM after i am done surfen or Texting, is there some way to tell the phone or a check box that i can check to accept all incoming calls no mater what i am doing, i have even called CS to see if CALL FWDing got turned on some how, they told me nope!

Sep 1, 2010I've had my htc incredible for a few days and I absolutely love it. However, I am less than pleased with the battery life. I run a good amount of apps and widgets and am sure this is causing the life to drain. I downloaded ATK in order to close apps when not in use, but I've noticed a strange occurrence. It seems that w/i 10 minutes of closing unneeded apps a bunch of programs that I have not been using open up. Is there any explanation for this? Also, is there a way to immediately close an app when I'm done using it rather than having to find the ATK widget?

Sep 30, 2010Until yesterday if I had an app like Pandora or ESPN Radio playing/running when the screen kicked off the app would keep playing. However, now when the phone goes to sleep everything else gets shut off. I have not altered anything myself per se. Even uninstalled a few apps like AutoKiller [which I had installed for weeks and everything worked fine with it on and installed] but the problem persists and remains. This really perplexes me as I want/need these apps to play with the screen off like they did before. For the life of me I don't know why this is; nor can I find anything in settings to change.
