Samsung Vibrant :: Can Not View Desktop Version Of Websites / Fix It
Sep 3, 2010I was trying to view a full version (desktop version) of a website, but unable to (www.fanhouse.com incase you are wondering). I remembered I could force my old HTC G1 to do this by changing the UA String by putting "about:debug" in the URL, then click "Menu" and setting UAString to desktop.
When I did this on my Vibrant, the moment I exit out of settings page, the Web App crashes. The Web App will force close and can not be restarted until I go to Manage Appicaltions and do a "Clear data" of the Web App.
Anyone have anyluck doing this? Is this a bug with the Samsung's browser or is it a problem with Android 2.1's browser? I still new to 2.1 and to Samsung's TouchWiz so bear with me.

General :: Touching Email In Jelly Bean 4.1 Automatically Scrolls Page Down
Sep 1, 2012in Jelly Bean opening an email in the basic email app and then touching anywhere within the email makes the email quickly scroll down to hide the to/from bar. It's the only place in Android where a single touch causes a scrolling response, so when I open the email and begin to scroll with a swipe, it jumps down and then scrolls which is somewhat disorienting as it differs from how scrolling works in every other app including Gmail.

Apr 20, 2012Ok so today i started my first Android Application in eclipse. how to open a new screen when i press a button, but my question is, how do i open a different screen when i press a different button on the same page? Because you cant just copy and paste the same code for the first button because it gives you duplicate errors.what i can copy/paste or do to get my second button to go to a different screen?

Jul 8, 2010I'm currently having an issue where my browser shuts down when I open certain websites. In particular. androidforums.com. The strange thing is it doesn't force close. The screen just goes black momentarily, then I'm back at my home screen. It's happening on all browsers, so it's not an application issue. I've never had this issue before, and I recently installed Hydra Kernel #3 (UV/OV 1.15 w/ N). Is this something other people are experiencing in conjunction with a hydra kernel? If not, do any of you guys know what could be causing this?

I have installed Handcent and disabled the stock message app i think. I have closed all apps and recieved a text and here is what opens everytime. Voice Dialer, com.coremobility.app.vnotes, sprint navigation, and still the Messages app opens even though it comes through Handcent.
