I have a Nexus 7 2012 wifi version that I have updated to kit kat. I decided to root it but there's no way, believe me I've spent a lot of time on it. No driver available (or at least nothing works). I need to roll it back to jelly bean, then I should be able to get the correct driver and root it. So here's the 64 thousand dollar question: How can I take a device that's already been updated to kit kat and install jelly bean on it?

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have rooted my galaxy note 8 with framaroot jus to use a mouse and keyboard emulator no to do anyhing technical or some ROM things and then i " regretfully" have updated the device to jelly bean 4.2.2 and now i am lost im not rooted and though i have the supersu app installed and stuck , it cannot be uninstalled.i have ried to use root manager to remove the file from inside , it tells me it has been removed however it is not also it cannot be opened it tels me " there is not SU binary installed , and superSU canot install it , this is a problem" tried to re-root the devise again , downloaded the latest framaroot . i doesnt work and tells me " failed ry anoher exploit if available" all of the other options are giving me the same thing.

I have installed superuser and tried to update the binary but it just says getting root access failed.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Pantech Flex P8010. I never thought it would be updated to jb. So I rooted it. Removed all bloated applications from it. Changed the recovery to CWM. I haven't taken any back up before the bloat removal. All I have is the cwm backup of the debloated version.
Now Pantech have released the jb ota. Is there any way to update the phone to jb with the root privilege? Is there any way to return to complete stock? Will the recovery and boot loader image available in the forums be useful?
I've had 4.3 on my phone now for about a month. It is horrible, phone freezes a lot, and run very slow. Is there a way to roll back to the previous version?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo at school i was charging my phone on the PC there. All of a sudden my phone turns off. I try to turn it back on and it does turn on. It shows the Motorola logo for a few seconds and turns back off. I went home that day and used by default charger and charged it. It showed the green light. The phone turned on and did the same thing, it shows the Motorola logo for a few seconds and turns back off and if i leave it the process repeats. The green light also flashes a few times. When i press both the volume up and down at the same time, it shows options to either normal powerup, recovery, fastboot, factory and tools. I tried normal powerup, recovery and factory but it would just turn on showing the motorola logo for a few seconds and turn back of.When i unplug the phone and try to turn it on, it wont work.
View 6 Replies View RelatedTrying to root the phone. I'm not a linux pro... but I can't get the su binaries in the /system/bin folder. It won't let me mount the system saying 'Over-lap error'.
AND When I run deamon, it will start, then it will say it doesn't exist. But it's in the bin folder. Not the su though. Also, I can't connect to HTC through their software to sync or unlock the bootloader.

After update to 4.3 I lost Swedish input language. Trying around I mistakenly set Thai display language for the phone, including setup. I do not speak Thai and do not know know how to set back English.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI stupidly installed the Orange ROM update on my Tattoo and am now having the issue with it only ringing once. Is there anyway I can roll back to an older ROM? I've downloaded V 1.65.405.1 but the phone won't let me install it. I remember on an old SPV phone when I was trying to remove the Orange branding I had to unplug it when it was trying to do the ROM update which corrupted the phone and allowed me to install the unbranded ROM. I'm wondering if doing that would work but I don't wanna risk it.
