Theme the settings menu on a tablet? On phones you can theme in every color and insert pictures but i havent seen that done to a tablet. I think it would be cool if you could match your theme on the rest of the tablet with the one in settings other than just plain white and gray.

I have a Nexus 7 tablet and every few days I notice a few new apps on the device. I'm not sure if they're full apps or just simply icons to download apps or get more information. I have tried to avoid using them. I know previously I had a couple apps that were sending notifications to the notification system that I considered to be spam. After some research I found out how you can find out which apps are doing it and disable notifications from those apps so that took care of that.

IE- can I install blue energy over Xtheme? Is there a way to revert back to the generic BB with no theme or do I need to restore a backup to accomplish this?

Ok that means i dont care about the language my apps will be displayed in as long as it is english "which should be in every rom.."
But i do care about the region they are set in... means when i start MIUI News/Weather (geniewidget.apk) I want to see News from Germany and temperature in Celsius..
When I play "who-becomes-rich" I want Euro for currency! and so on ...
Is there any way to set the region like that ? (build.prop or anything else..?)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a theme off the market for GoSMS and GoContacts (the theme also has ones for GoLocker and GoLauncher as well which work fine). I have downloaded and installed the themes and gone through the steps to apply it but it does not show the theme. I had read that there is an issue with themes running Jelly Bean and typically if you can get the dev to email you the apk it will work. I have tried contacting the dev multiple times with no response. Any other way to get these items to work correctly? I know there are other options than the ones I selected but I really liked the look of this theme and am kind of picky. The items are linked below:

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just installed the newest MIUI version on my SGS3 (I9300) Unfortunately it seems like I'm not able to use themes... When using the themes from XDA it says that they're not from the original store and doesn't allow me to use them. When trying to download themes with the preinstalled "Themes" app, nothing happens when hitting the "download" button... not even an error message. Then I tried to download them from the XIAOMI (official MIUI store) website. When using some of them the same thing as with the XDA themes happened. The only exception where the official ones made by the "MIUI Design Center". They gave an error message that said that the Server was unavailavble. I guess it tried to check if the theme was from the MIUI store. I also tried turning off my Wi-Fi and data connection. That didn't change anything.
Is there any way to stop that nonsense? Like trying to stop that online check so I can use my themes? I understand why XIAOMI did that, but since I'm not using paid themes it doesn't make a difference to me...
Is it possible two combine to cm10.1 themes? I want to take the battery icons from one theme an ported to another... I've tried opening the apks with 7zip , copying the png from one theme to another, then sign the apk, installed, worked fine but the icons doesn't show, only the default ones. Can this be done?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to create themes for Nemus launcher and so far am struggling to find ou the package names for many apps (some default Samsung Note,SGS2 apps and some Market installed) ,,,,, is thr a simpler way to find out the names of these apps so that can assign Icons to them by replacing the "." in the name with a "_" .
I tried to use Astro ->Application manager for this and used the name of the package as displayed in the App manager but it doesn't seem to work when i apply that Icon in my themes.....
I have recently attempted to install LordManhattan's keyboard [URL] on my rooted Samsung Galaxy S3, but it will not show up with the theme I am using (Lucid theme). Whenever I revert back to the standard Holo theme, it shows up fine.

However, the ROMs like MIUI and ChameleonOS does it without a restart.
Even few Old ICS devices used to come prebundeled with 2-3 Themes with different wallpapers and launcher default widgets.

So awhile back my tablet was acting up and being slow. So I held down the power button to reboot it but when I try starting it back up again it goes through the normal process up until a black screen with the word android that is in blue and is flashing. It always stops here. I'm having an issue with my tablet, an Onda VI40 Ultimate. It was left off for a day or two, and when I plugged it in yesterday I got the battery screen, but it was in orange and showing that it needed to be charged. I figured I'd leave it alone for a few hours, then come back to it.
I left it plugged in for four hours, but when I came back to it the tablet is just giving the same message. I took out the charger, plugged it in again and got the same screen. I plugged it into my desktop pc via usb cable, and it just gives the same screen over and over. I got another charger, one exactly like it, and plugged it in. Same screen again. I pressed the reset button, same screen. I tried holding down the power button and volume up button, but no deal. I have the latest CM9 build installed on it, with ICS 4.0.4.
I have included below a terribly blurry photograph of what I'm seeing when I try to turn it on, or do anything with it. The tablet just never seems to charge no matter what I do, nor will it boot in any way.
Thinking about getting the moms a tablet for Christmas. Loving the reviews of the Asus Transformer but my original plan was getting her a 4G device so that she can use it even when wifi isn't available. Just wanted thoughts and opinions from those who have had experiences on either end and any recommendations.
