Jun 15, 2013I made an Aroma flashable zip that contains all of the popular superuser apps. The problem is, it gets to the install phase and nothing happens. It just says that its installing for a few seconds and then, without any output, it finishes.

Motorola Droid : How To Flash Themes?
Aug 12, 2010I am new to rooting and custom roms, so I have a couple of questions about flashing different themes. I currently am using ss4.6 w/ stock kernal and works great. So the ? is when adding a theme do I just put it on the sd card in update.zip form and install over the rom without wiping anything? BTW I rooted the old fashioned way with rsd lite and have been using sprecovery to flash the roms.

Jun 25, 2012I had a stock android 2.3.6 and here are the steps I tried:
- Unlocked my N1 (through fastboot)
- flashed the RA recovery image (through fastboot)
- Wiped the device.
- Copied the Evervolv-Perdo-2.2.0a5-passion-aroma.zip to the SD card
- Booted in recovery mode and installed Evervolv.
After reboot, the blue X animation just sits there rolling and rolling. It's been 25 minutes since I rebooted and the main screen doesn't show up.

Jul 9, 2010I have searched for this but didn't really find a clear answer. I am running BB Froyo 0.4---can themes be installed over other themes? IE- can I install blue energy over Xtheme? Is there a way to revert back to the generic BB with no theme or do I need to restore a backup to accomplish this?

Jan 27, 2013I bought a theme off the market for GoSMS and GoContacts (the theme also has ones for GoLocker and GoLauncher as well which work fine). I have downloaded and installed the themes and gone through the steps to apply it but it does not show the theme. I had read that there is an issue with themes running Jelly Bean and typically if you can get the dev to email you the apk it will work. I have tried contacting the dev multiple times with no response. Any other way to get these items to work correctly? I know there are other options than the ones I selected but I really liked the look of this theme and am kind of picky. The items are linked below:

Nov 5, 2013Theme the settings menu on a tablet? On phones you can theme in every color and insert pictures but i havent seen that done to a tablet. I think it would be cool if you could match your theme on the rest of the tablet with the one in settings other than just plain white and gray.

Dec 30, 2012I just installed the newest MIUI version on my SGS3 (I9300) Unfortunately it seems like I'm not able to use themes... When using the themes from XDA it says that they're not from the original store and doesn't allow me to use them. When trying to download themes with the preinstalled "Themes" app, nothing happens when hitting the "download" button... not even an error message. Then I tried to download them from the XIAOMI (official MIUI store) website. When using some of them the same thing as with the XDA themes happened. The only exception where the official ones made by the "MIUI Design Center". They gave an error message that said that the Server was unavailavble. I guess it tried to check if the theme was from the MIUI store. I also tried turning off my Wi-Fi and data connection. That didn't change anything.
Is there any way to stop that nonsense? Like trying to stop that online check so I can use my themes? I understand why XIAOMI did that, but since I'm not using paid themes it doesn't make a difference to me...
