I am in the CC section of the original email I get the email back to me again. Is there anyway to stop this from happening? In IOS that doesn't happen when I reply to all it doesn't come back to me again.

Hello! I'm trying to set up my wife's droid 2. She uses outlook at work. I have outlook webmail set up on her phone. She is able to receive work emails but can not reply or send an email on her phone. It always says message not sent. Is there a setting I'm missing?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a user who has a Samsung Galaxy S3 and is using the GMail app to read her emails. This all works fine except for when she goes to reply to one. When she replies, everything looks ok and she can even send without a problem. The problem comes when the message is received the original message (below what she typed) just reads "Original sender wrote : " and that's it. That actual original message isn't there.
I've checked all the settings and even recreated the account and it still does it. I also checked the sent messages and it's like it there too so it's definatley something to do with the phone. The only thing we've found is that if you edit the original message in any way - even just by adding a space - it goes through correctly.
I am working on a application from which i need to ADD,Delete ,Change Email and Wifi Settings. I even need to add new Email Accounts . Can you please give me some pointers where i can start this . In Android, Are there APIs i can directly call for this or should it use content provider to do the same.?
View 2 Replies View Relatedright, have had my hero for several months and only this week gmail has started playing up. I receive emails however when I delete this is not actually reflected in my account and still there when I logon via internet. That means volume count of messages remain high and eventually they return back into my gmail account on the phone. When I try and reply to an email it simply states "sending" without actually sending. Not sure if this is ROM specific, I have used a couple now with the same issue (Villain 10.3 + Superhero 2 - although admittedly they have been authored by the same people).

I think this started after installing Baked Snack 1.7 ROM from Damage Control 3.2 ROM. I have since tried to fix it by installing Fresh 3.3 ROM, radio 2.15.00.09.01 and WIMAX 26023. The error i get when trying to send MMS is generic network failure. All other functions of the phone work normally as far as i know. Anyone else run across an issue like this?

I'd like to be able to change the from / reply to address on an account in the the Mail application (as opposed to the Gmail one) but can't find an option to. I have mail from my primary account forwarding to my gmail account which syncs with the Desire and I want to be able to reply using my primary address rather than the gmail one.

Anyways now we got an android tablet and want to setup the email accounts on it as well. I tried looking up the settings on my phone but couldn't find them. I looked in our web hosting settings but what i found doesn't seem to work.
Is there a way to see what settings i entered on my captivate so i can put the same info into the tablet settings?

I am having the one scenario like send email to particular mail id(info@jeltech.com). In my application while clicking the link it should call email application and then need to pass above mail id to in "To" box (after login) .
I don't use gmail app, I use normal email app like normal people who does not want to use 3 different email apps for 3 different accounts, so when I get an e-mail in Gmail and I delete it, it keeps coming back as new e-mail. When I open it it shows for a few seconds and then disappears, then new email count disappears. After I go back to using the phone new email appears again, then the same cycle..

When he tried to do this it doubled the contacts on his phone. (Basically went from 50 contacts to 100 contacts).

I have no trouble revieving email through the email setup not Gmail but there is no provision for an address book or contacts list for sending emails. I Googled around and found K-9 Email and went to Google Apps to download it and upon tapping the download button a message came up stating "no devices found". The Nexus7 is running Jellybeen 4.2.1.

At the phone start, deep sleep mode works fine, but as soon as i receive an email or SMS, the phone will never go back in powersaving mode. Just as if the service crashed and the phone still "Awake". I've tested several solutions and apps:
- Deep Sleep Battery Saver: Failed
- One power guard: Failed
- Powersaving tweaks from Pimpmyrom: Failed
Of course i've checked if a service or apps aren't involved in the problem, but there is nothing. I've checked with Betterbatterystats, wakelock detector...Deep Sleep mode just crash and never restart . And we are a several people in this case...

Being able to filter a specific distribution list to not notify me. I get other emails from that email that I need to be notified when they come in. I just need one distro list silenced. Different notifications for specific senders would be awesome.
I've had the Sprint EVO for about a week now and love it, except for the fact that the email settings keep changing. I go in and change the notification settings to Notification Sound "On", and then, sometimes, a few hours later, when I notice that I haven't heard any emails come in, I'll check the settings and see that Notification Sound is now "Off." Same thing with download frequency and delete email on server.

I am a new Android user. I used Blackberry before. My blackberry when i had configured my business email address as POP3 it downloads all my emails local on the phone, so when i want to search something i can easily did that at all my emails there.
Now i am trying to find one Android application for my emails at my new phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) with this capability but no luck until now.
I tried the default email app but it shows only the last 20 lets say emails and if i want to see more i have to scroll down and press "load more" to load 20 more. So if i want to search for one email i have to scroll down a hundred times to load 20-20 emails until i will manage to have them all their.
I tried also some other applications but every application it has this option for "load more".
under email settings - send receive - download options the choice "By days" or "By number of emails" what is this changing? I can't find anywhere to find info on this.
