I'm using android 4.2.2 touch wiz. Samsung galaxy s4.
And the storage is getting lower every day. And I just found out that even though I store all the pictures and videos on memory card. But still size of gallery data is increasing. And right now it's 1.96gb.
how to decrease its size?
And one more thing this size 1.96gb is after deleting the thumbnails in miscellaneous tab.

I only have 155mb worth of pics on my phone but it shows 255mb on Settings>Storage>Pictures, videos. Where did that 100mb came from?

How to remove pictures in gallery in jelly 4.1.1 cannot pinch to zoom out to enter "filmstrip mode. Have attempted to remove pics with file manager, no luck. I do have Picasa app in gallery but cannot find out to delete. Cannot transfer pics to pc to remove pics.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just noticed this morning that my picasaweb upload button is missing in my camera/gallery app.
There used to be a button in the upper-right corner (right next to the share button that allows you to select gmail, IM, etc) that would allow me to upload the photo to a selected album (or create a new album) in picasaweb. I'm not sure when this disappeared, but I noticed today that it is no longer there. I installed an OS update a day or two ago, so it may have been then. Now I see the share button, and a gmail button, and that's it. If I select the drop down menu from the share button, there is no picasaweb option there.
I can see all of my picasaweb albums on my phone, and am synced with google photo in my settings, but the upload button is gone.
Is it possible to hide the icon (on every launcher, not a particular one) of the gallery on JB, which is the same application as the camera? i want to keep the camera icon only. I readed, but i dont remember where, that you can do something like that with some .xml editing...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to be able to pull in google plus photos when using photoshop touch and autostitch apps etc. But their import options only access local folders on my device. I can download individual photos one at a time to a generic download folder from google plus to use, not full albums. When I try to create a new folder in gallery, and move the Picasa/Google Plus photos I get a notice saying "unsupported file." I read somewhere that there should be an option in gallery that makes photos available offline, but I don't have that. Just basically trying to be able to organize and download my g+ photos for use with these apps, in a less time consuming way.

I downloaded some fonts that I thought looked nice and tried them but the subtitle for my push notifications would be cut off so I changed it back to my old font (Rosemary). However, it still gets cut off! I already uninstalled MyFonts and tried to change any of the options that I thought could work change it back to normal, but to no avail. restore the size or indents for my push notifications back to normal. It's bothering the crap out of me!! My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 & with 4.3.

If you look in the folders they are all still there but all of the old photo's have the same Authored Date (7/23/2003 6:36 PM) and the same Date Created (5/9/1970 11:20 PM) the Date Modified is unique as it is the actual date the pictures were taken... These files are not hidden. I do not remember exactly what day I upgraded to 4.3 but it would have been right around the time that the issue started. I tried Scan Media and Rescan Media apps with no success.

I had my HTC EVO 4g for a week now and loving it. I always make sure I have a sufficient enough of space on my my phone's memory.. It frustrates me knowing that the application with the most database size is the contacts storage! (13.54mb ) What really bothers me, it gradually increases by the day.. When I first got the phone it was 9mb.. and as the we days go by it would increase. I don't even add any new contacts. What's the root of the problem?! Should i disable syncing facebook / gmail?

I've tried GoSMS Pro, Textra, Handcent, Hangouts,... nothing else will send an MMS. It tries, and then just switches over to retrying until I force quite the app, or send another regular, text only message.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Profile Scheduler +, and have set the default ringtone to the stock SMS app to specific sound (Sound 02) since it only works for stock apps and not 3rd party ones.
In GoSMS, I get dual notifications. When I select the setting (Disable Other Message Notification), I don't get dual notifications on the notification bar and Sound 02 does not play.
how to get rid of the dual notification but may it use Sound 02 as the default? I have Sound 01 used the default notification for emails, etc.
