General :: Jelly Bean - How To Remove Or Change Splash Logo Of Cherry Mobile Flare S100

I'm really bugged by the Cherry Mobile Flare logo. It's like this: when our devices (S100, otherwise known as the Karbonn A9+ in India) are still in Android ICS(4.0.4), it's really a breeze to change the boot(splash) logo using the AIO flasher. Anyways, since we updated our devices to JB 4.1.2, I have tried and failed (countless times) in changing the boot logo using AIO (partition table does not exist). The boot logo also appears during off-charging (before the animated battery).So I searched the web and found the link below(which looks promising) and tried but I get the "can't open dev/block/mmcblock0p18" error. It's NOT the boot animation, it's THE boot logo guys.

my CM Flare S100, last night I tried to change my font using an app (iFont) and then after installing and applying it reboot itself and then after I waited for like 2-3 minutes, I opened it up, and then the Problem is after the CM and Android boot animation shows up it turns into black screen, stuck in black screen. I also tried to wipe its data / factory reset, wipe cache, and reboot many times but it always comes back. What to do?

Is there anyway to delete this and just have the samsung logo on startup? i already deleted all the preinstalled ATT crap that comes with the phone with titanium backup (i just deleted them did not even backup will never use them anyway. after i did that phone seems to be better for me. also i did delete that annoying swish sound at startup but it also took away the samsung startup sound and i like that one. why is it that everyphone for att has there logo or some other att crap on it but the damn iPhone is the only phone clean without any att crap on it -_- i switched over from iPhone 4 could not be more happy. also is there a way to remove the att logo on the top of the phone im talking about the logo next to the speaker.

Is there any way to custom the LG logo like you can on the moto droid for the M logo, or any way of customizing the verizon splash screen or just remove it.I know that the newest rom removed the verizon splash, but I was hoping to not have to choose between roms over this and that there would be a way to customize it and not just remove it.So any way to customize these or remove the splash without permanently changing my rom.

How to remove pictures in gallery in jelly 4.1.1 cannot pinch to zoom out to enter "filmstrip mode. Have attempted to remove pics with file manager, no luck. I do have Picasa app in gallery but cannot find out to delete. Cannot transfer pics to pc to remove pics.

So, I recently updated to 4.3 on my S3 and when everything was installed, the device just rebooted and stayed on to the Samsung symbol frozen. I've tried battery pull, I've tried clearing cache. Bear in mind I DON'T want my data to be deleted, it's not backed up, however is there a way to do backup with the phone switched off or on to download mode.

This is probably the easiest and quickest method to ROOT your Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0/ Karbonn S1 Titanium.
STEPS:
1. Download ZIP File for rooting in the attachments below
2. Connect your device to a pc and copy and paste the ZIP file you just downloaded to the external card on the device. (it really does not matter if your phone is in USB debugging mode or not.)
3. Disconnect the device from the PC safely and turn it off.
4. Hold the volume up key+ power button at the same time until a green screen appears. (this is the fastboot mode) Keep holding until screen turns red (recovery mode) and release to enter stock recovery.
5. Navigate using hardware buttons (power to confirm selections) and wipe cache partition and factory reset data.
6. select "apply update from external SD card" and navigate to where you pasted the ZIP file for rooting.
7. Confirm the ZIP file selection and wait for the process to finish.
8. Reboot the device.
Your phone should now be rooted. the super user app should now be visible in the app drawer of the device.

My phone won't boot up it's just vibrating after the boot animation logo with black screen but I can access the stock recovery and have charging battery sign so I think it's soft brick.
What seems the cause of brick:
I accidentally bricked my phone using root cleaner app and full cleaning option.
I tried factory resetting in stock recovery but It's not working.
Additional Information:
Our local phone doesn't have CWM and Custom/Stock Rom yet but it's rooted. CM Omega Icon has same spec with Micromax A121 Canvas Elanza 2 you could say that's the OEM of our phone. But unfortunately they do not have CWM and Custom/Stock Rom also.

How to change jb lockscreen to this?
1. I want to remove white bounding box.
2. I want to move up the clock over widget boundary.
In ICS, there is a way to move clock upside.
By modifying keyguard_screen_unlock_portrait.xml file in framework-res.apk.
But in JB this method doesn't work well.
ps. I don't want to do this by 3rd party app like widget locker.

I copied my desired ringtone to sdcard/media/alarms, it didn't work either. Then I tried copying it to sdcard/ringtones, nothing new..

I'm using an mk808 with xbmc and two seperate usb drives which should be mounted at fixed,specific locations every time I unplug an replug them.
How to achieve this in jellybean? I've already tried changing stuf in /etc/vold.fstab,but this seems to have no effect (I changed /mnt/usb_storage/USB_DISK0 to /mnt/fusb_storage/USB_DISK0 to see if it affects anything,but nothing changed)

I've had my phone almost two years and have never used tunein radio. Then suddenly yesterday it pops up a notification, and as soon as I touch that, trying to swipe-remove it, a station loads and starts playing. This is disastrous for me because mobile data is ridiculously expensive here and I need all of it for work purposes. So taoday I go to play store and uninstall it. And then get told that it's a system app so all the uninstall has done is remove all updates. Great, now I have a potentially insecure app that I don't want.
How can I remove it, or at the very least block it from using network? (I do have Sophos AV).

Most web pages crash without loading all the way. I can't connect to my mobile hotspot. When I look at my RAM, it seems the phne is using 70-80% of max all the time.

My galaxy s3 screen has broken. It didn't shatter but it does not light up or respond to touch. I know it is on because the light in the upper corner that blinks for notifications works and the soft keys light up when the power/lock button and volume button are pushed. I can not see or save what I have on my phone through Kies because I cannot unlock it. Is there was any other way to unlock a phone like through a website or program without using the touchscreen?

I just recently got an optimus G e970. I downloaded CM10.2.zip and gapps.zip for the rom.I used "adb push CM10.2.zip /sdcard/" to move the files files to my sdcard and i sucessfully installed cyanagenmod BUT i can't delete the .zip files left behind.
When i go to recovery mode, i see the files in my sdcard but there are not options to remove it. I connected the phone to my PC and i can't see CM10.2.zip and gapps.zip file in my sdcard. I tried installign root explorer and esfile explorer and enabled hidden files but i can't find this file in my sdcard (internal storage) or sdcard1 (physical sdcard). However, i can still see them in recovery mode, BUT again there is not option to remove the .zip files in recovery mode.!

I bought an ATT S3, running android 4.1.2. I set up the APN as instructed by straight talk and everything works except data... just can't connect to the internet. On my old sprint S3, there is an option to turn data on and off in the top menu bar (when you swipe downwards from the top of the screen), but this option does not exist on this phone. There are buttons for wifi, bluetooth, gps, etc but NO DATA! At first I was thinking it was the APN settings, but now I am thinking there is something else wrong because I don't even see the data button to toggle it on or off. I can't see incorrect APN settings preventing the toggle data option from even showing on the phone.

I am using our country local brand walton primo gh2 phone. In notification area i see "Downloading English (US) ", under it download paused. First three or four time i tapped and hold and its took me to Language and input option and shows me that update and every time it stacked on 64%. after that when i again i tapped and hold it shows just app info nothing else and i cant remove it from my notification area. Its very annoying to see and some file goes to queue under it too download never start and i have to restart downloads. I am using android 4.2.2.

I am a GALAXY GRAND Duos user running 4.2.2..I have a problem with my gallery . I changed my stock gallery to Note 2's stock gallery and than after completing the process I had a reboot and than suddenly I saw that the gallery was missing from my phone yhan I did recover my old secgallery2_galaxy with the odex file after installation when I opened gallery the gallery didn't open and said UNFORTUNATELY THE GALLERY HAS STOPPED.I tried QUICKPIC too but it didn't change the lockscreen wallpaper. I tried to change wallpaper through settings but it opened the wallpapers the phone had.
