View 1 Replies View RelatedI type out websites on Whatsapp and in my browser on a regular basis, but with auto-complete I end up saving and typing words that I didn't intend to because of the format of a URL. I could turn auto-complete off, but I still need it when I'm doing regular texting.
Is there any keyboard with a button that can turn auto-complete on/off when pressed? Or perhaps a home screen shortcut that can do this?
I can't even make a custom shortcut to the language & keyboard, and doing it manually takes too long.
When using Adfree, some sites will not work (specifically GameFAQs) and you cannot access some of the free gem/currency offers on some games. Is there a way to allow ads on some apps or websites but not others?

I just bought a Note 2. The only reason I bought it because on iphone I wasn't able to hide my apps without jailbreaking. I was really looking forward to some on android market that would allow me to hide certain apps and password lock them along with password locking settings options. Yet I have not been able to find any. I have a few apps that I want to hide from my family and friends.

I bought a Galaxy S4 wit Android 4.2.2 preinstalled. In my Company we are allowed to sync with Active Sync/Exchange our Mails, Contacs and Calendar. But we are only allowed to use it with Windows Mobile and iOS!
The Sync with my Galaxy works perfect but when I check the sync protocoll in my Outlook Web Access Account they will see that I am syncing a Android device.
Is it possible to hide or change the User Agent for Exchange?

I enter my username and password, hit log in, and nothing. is this a common problem with the stock browser? Cool tablet but coming from Blackberry Playbook (still own it) it just kills me that the taskbar (i think this is how it is called) is always visible whether watching a movie or playing a game. Brilliant, the application is password protected and has remote wipe capabilities, but that still isn't enough for them! Which means I'm stuck carrying two phones around. I would like to either hide superuser/su/root from the phone when I'm not needing the escalated rights, or just block it from seeing it completely.

In there, all the red parts contain tutorials on settings that don't actually work on my device, and for OCD sake, I don't want them appearing in my settings because of it. But simply cutting them out of that file will make the settings app crash whenever i open that menu
So question is: is there a way to hide these settings without impairing their functions?
I've been using various ROMs (including various Xposed modules) in the past and most of them allow me to auto-hide the status bar.But whenever I swipe down from the top and the statusbar is displayed, it resizes the entire content on my phone.
What I was looking for is a statusbar that will show up above the content, like the immersive mode in KitKat but for JB so it doesn't resize my content but overlap it.
I know there are some apps that give you this kind of auto-hide status bar but it will only work in fullscreen apps, so I tried to make everything on my phone full screen (using expanded desktop) but it doesn't seem to work...
