My HTC massage notification logo (sttsbar) seems baad and looks rubbish. I tried to change that but the romtoolbox has no option and logo for massage... Any other way or source to change it?

I wanted to change the boot logo for i9300. Im well aware that you have to incorporate it in the kernel. I installed Ubuntu, the necessary libraries and brought the cyanogenmod source code. Only part is I dont have the necessary experience to tweak it using the NDK tools

It's like this: when our devices (S100, otherwise known as the Karbonn A9+ in India) are still in Android ICS(4.0.4), it's really a breeze to change the boot(splash) logo using the AIO flasher. Anyways, since we updated our devices to JB 4.1.2, I have tried and failed (countless times) in changing the boot logo using AIO (partition table does not exist). The boot logo also appears during off-charging (before the animated battery).So I searched the web and found the link below(which looks promising) and tried but I get the "can't open dev/block/mmcblock0p18" error. It's NOT the boot animation, it's THE boot logo guys.

Is there any way to custom the LG logo like you can on the moto droid for the M logo, or any way of customizing the verizon splash screen or just remove it.I know that the newest rom removed the verizon splash, but I was hoping to not have to choose between roms over this and that there would be a way to customize it and not just remove it.So any way to customize these or remove the splash without permanently changing my rom.

View 6 Replies View RelatedEverytime I turn the screen on and unlock I get this message on my home screen with the clock/wx widget. It says, "Set new clock successful!" It dissolves after a couple seconds but it still annoys me. It only happens on the screen with that widget and not with other home screen pages. Things needed:ADB/Fastboot knowledge - HERE also try searching.
RGB565Converter v0.3c - Thanks to DeToX-cz!
Instructions:Find an or create an image (.png, .bmp, .jpg, or .gif -- 320x480 is preferrable)
Open RGB565 Converter
Ensure that "To RGB565 (binary)" tab is selected
Click "Open Image", select your image
Click "Convert to RGB565" (RGB565 Converter will make your image 320x480 if it is not already)
CLOSE RGB565 CONVERTER
Reboot phone into Fastboot using this command: adb reboot bootloader
OR Button combo: SEND/CALL + END/POWER
Flash image using this command: fastboot flash splash1 <your_image_name>.rgb565
Reboot phone using this command: fastboot reboot
OR fastboot oem powerdown if not then remove your battery

I will try to be as brief as possible... I have published a very simple android application it's name is "Vib-e-rator PRO". It's purpose is obvious, it can be used as a masssage vibrator or as an erotic stimulator...
My Problem is don't have an Android Phone to test my app in real time.
I have been recieving mixed comments from people. A few users say its working fine. But majority of them complained that the Phone would n quit vibrating even after the closing application.
Later i speculated that when ever the user switched off the vibrator and quit the app it would work as expected. If any user (most of em) directly closed the application ( either through the close option provided in the app itself or by pressing the END button in the phone ) without switching off the vibrator then it would not stop vibrating.
So i added myvib.Cancel() (myvib is the context for Phone Vibrator) in the exit block the close option provided in my app. For the other scenario, when it is closed by pressing the END button in phone, i have no idea how to solve it... So friends please advice me what is necessary to do... The comments i have been receiving from many users of my app is really embarassing....

i was running the latest version of Slim Kat rom for my i9100 when it turned off and then was stuck on samsumg boot logo. When i try to access twrp it just says teamwin and wont go any further. It happened once before and so i just flashed a stock rom and then went back to rooting it. However, now when i try to flash any rom (stock/custom), or another recovery with odin it freezes at "nand write start". I have access to download mode which is really the only thing i have working atm
Ive read around and done everything (eg try other usb ports/cables/odin version) but no luck. Is there anything else i could do? I dont wanna do a pit flash cause im scared ill completely screw it up.
I spoofed my device S6312 to galaxy nexus using network spoofer to download an incompatible game from google play store.According to network spoofer everything worked great but nothing actually happened and that game was still incompatible on play store.So I launched network spoofer and told it to recover my device again to S6102.It said that the device will reboot so I gave it permissions and my device started rebooting but it stop at the Samsung logo and was doing the same thing again and again so s actually boot looping.
