Mar 29, 2010I came across this on XDA and thought I would post here. Added some stuff so that it was easier than what was said on XDA. As always, do a NAND backup before doing this. I am not responsible if this bricks your phone. I just did it and it worked fine
Things needed:ADB/Fastboot knowledge - HERE also try searching.
RGB565Converter v0.3c - Thanks to DeToX-cz!
Instructions:Find an or create an image (.png, .bmp, .jpg, or .gif -- 320x480 is preferrable)
Open RGB565 Converter
Ensure that "To RGB565 (binary)" tab is selected
Click "Open Image", select your image
Click "Convert to RGB565" (RGB565 Converter will make your image 320x480 if it is not already)
CLOSE RGB565 CONVERTER
Reboot phone into Fastboot using this command: adb reboot bootloader
OR Button combo: SEND/CALL + END/POWER
Flash image using this command: fastboot flash splash1 <your_image_name>.rgb565
Reboot phone using this command: fastboot reboot
OR fastboot oem powerdown if not then remove your battery

Sep 12, 2013I am trying to do some low level performance testing related to device processor cores through adb which I feel it is affected by Android background services and system stuff.
As I know that the Android boot sequence stages are as follow:
1.Execute Boot ROM code.
2.Execute the boot loader.
3.Load the Linux kernel.
4.Launch Zygote, which initializes the Dalvik VM.
5.System server which loads the Android system.
So my question is how can I interrupt this sequence to force it stop on stage 3 to load Linux kernel. This can implement my intermediary performance testings before loading again Android system.
Does Fastboot or Clockworkmod recovery can load my device to a kind of Linux kernel?

Feb 25, 2014I spoofed my device S6312 to galaxy nexus using network spoofer to download an incompatible game from google play store.According to network spoofer everything worked great but nothing actually happened and that game was still incompatible on play store.So I launched network spoofer and told it to recover my device again to S6102.It said that the device will reboot so I gave it permissions and my device started rebooting but it stop at the Samsung logo and was doing the same thing again and again so s actually boot looping. How to recover my device and any way to do it without a computer.

Jul 11, 2012My Sharp FX (ADS1) is stuck at the "Sharp" logo when I try turning it on, now I know that are several of these post on this forum, but I still can't find any that offers a solution for me. The phone is rooted and that's it, I haven't had time to put a new ROM or anything yet (although I would love to) and I can't seem to get into any type of recovery mode, and I think I have tried all of the button combinations, the only time that I can get it to show something other than "sharp" is when I plug it in, it shows a charging battery.

Apr 25, 2012Recently I flashed to this ROM [URL] .... from a stock ROM. Have done it a few times before and no problems have occurred. It's an MIUI rom and I decided to customize the theme a little. The themes section allows to change most of the detail ie fonts, status bar, home screen, lock screen, icons, boot animation.
And that's where it started, when I changed the boot animation, instead of using the default one. When I did a reboot after the switch, the usual boot logo was up, but then the screen turned pixelated like a CRT monitor/damaged LCD screen with colourful pixels. But then in boot into the new animation all fine, and has been ok since. The device boots fine, but I'm worried about that pixelated screen.

I have:
Bootloader - unlocked
Access to TWRP but touche screen isn't working (Tried 3 vsrsio to make it work, but still touch isn't working)
I think my IMEI is "zero"
I can enter flashboot mood
I can enter pink screen
I tried to install stock ROM from huawei but i get error at step 2/2, same with custom ROM.
I don't have IMEI backed up.

Oct 23, 2012I have a Garmin-Asus A10 that i wanted to change its font using Type Fresh app. When the font changed the app required a reboot,, but when the phone rebooted it became unable to boot after the garmin-asus logo anymore !!
I tried a hard reset using the volume keys pressed with the power button but it displays "**WIPE USERDATA**" on the top left corner and nothing happened.There is an option to hold the volume up key with the power button that displays " USB POLLING MODE " in a blue screen.
My phone now is not able to boot properly and freezes on the startup logo.
