I have a HTC One with Android 4.4 with HTC Sense 5.5.
I have a little Problem with PlayStore! I dont get any Notifications about new Updates in the Taskbar.
Notification for Updates is activated, automatic Updates over WiFi is disabled. I reseted GooglePlayStore allready.
In PlayStore there are Updates but i get no Notification in the taskbar ...

I update an app -- Angry Birds Rio or Documents to Go, for example (there are a number of others) in Google Play. All goes normal. Then in Amazon it says update is available. If I update again there then an update shows up again on Google Play. It's endless. The app is updated. How do I make it stop?

A couple examples would be Google Maps (the latest version lacks zoom buttons and some other features, so I stick with an older, better, modded version: [URL]... ) and Yahoo Mail (recent updates now have ads in the inbox which look like emails). Of course, whenever I update other apps, unwanted ones like these are in the list. Besides being a visual annoyance, it eliminates the usage of the "Update All" feature.

In previous versions, when I went to 'My Downloads' section, the applications which I can update was displayed in the top on the list, and I was able to update, but with the version 3.5.15, when an application is updates, the section 'My Downloads', in the tab 'Installed', is showing nothing. I already know how to turn off auto updates through the play store so I have and it's not doing no difference. It keeps auto updating every few hours and really starting to get on my nervous because I can't download anything because with all this stuff downloading it keeps saying I don't have enough space.
I'm selling the phone and getting a different one that if defiantly NOT an android because it's nothing but a load of rubbish.
Do Apps installed using ADB get updated from the play store? if not is there a way to enable the Auto updates through ADB?

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently I've been having an issue with Google Play Music where when I play a song, it plays for a second then pauses, so I have to press play to get it going again. This occurs repetitively which means I can't listen to music.
It happens on songs that are being streamed and on songs that are on the device.
Funnily enough, if the song is played through ES file explorer and the little play music popup window comes up, it plays fine.
I've got this issue on both my devices, a tf101 running 4.3 and a nexus 5 with stock 4.4 rooted.
Edit: just remembered, I've also got this issue with MX Player and videos. I can't figure out what's wrong.
Streamed videos played through the gallery video player work fine.
How I can stop update the google play version automatically ??
Because if I donwgrade them to 4.0 he automatically update to 4.3 !!
When I'm updating my published apps through the Play Store developer console, it doesn't send a notification to current users that there is an update available.
I'm uploading the new apk with version codes incremented. Then I activate the new apk and deactivate the previous apk. Then I unpublish and republish and it usually takes Play Store about an our to reflect the change. But I never receive an update notification, even though I have the app installed.

View 5 Replies View Relatedjust trying out Google Play Music today. I'm confused though as I have around 10000 music files sitting in a folder on Google drive. I can't see an option to ask Google Play Music to look into Google Drive and upload the music from there. I have connected my Google play music app on my nexus 7 to my Google account' but nothing seems to happen. Surely Google is able to connect two parts of its cloud together and I don't have to re upload everything?

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy Droid notified me that I had updates yesterday (yea!). I attended to the other two notifications (email and an SMS) and by that time the update notification was gone. When I go into settings and check for update, it says it's up to date.
Is there a way I can view my Notifications History so that I can go get the updates?
Anyone else have notifications for updated apps stop working? The option is turned on in Market, sync is active etc and I don't get notifications, have to manually go into Market and check the downloads list. Sometimes there will be 10 updates in there. I used to get a notification when anything had an update... Anyone know why this stopped working?

I noticed this first with reminders (not very useful to have a reminder that doesn't bring itself to your attention!) but then realized that no other notifications are coming up.
IIRC you used to be able to set high/low/off priority to notifications, but that was taken away at some point.

Cleared cache, force-stopped, uninstalled and re-installed Search, all no no avail.
I have a problem with google+ Android app, recently, today I stop from receiving notifications on my phone not even on the status bar and I have the config for example this community to receive notifications. The only way I could recieve them and others I've configured is to enter the app and the other strange thing is that I doesn't even sound while I have configured that too. I've reinstalled and installed the app, wipe cache and dalvik, wipe the app data and config again with no results, it's too rare. y Google App version is 4.2.4.58179886 and i have activated the sync of Google+ on the account. For further information i receive notifications with sound for people who circle me and mention me but not communities or circles i have.
P.S.: For Google+ web notifications are working as they do. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 with Jelly Bean 4.1.2. Don't know if it has to be with other Google services like Google Play Services, Google Framework or other.
I've just flashed my Nexus S with CM11 M3 last night. Works awesome but i have one big problem i cant get rid of: When i try to download anything from Google Play i get a download error 403 message. what i have tried to fix this:
- wipe dalvik
- clear proxy from apn
- clear cache/data for framework and play store/services
- flash this rom again
- flash gapps twice.
i tried to restore my android backup of cm10 stable but it always fail with this error msg: cant mount system.
OK I got this 7 mid Google Android 4.0 multi touch capacitive tablet PC.
Now everything works fine ...the only real issue I have is whenever I go to Google play and try to download anything I would get this error and the only way I could get past it is to remove my account and sign in again. Is there a way to fix this so that the error don't continuously show up?? A13MID
where the Google Play edition of the Samsung Galaxy S4 isn't available via Google Play yet, but I was wondering, will it be possible in the future to switch from having the Android 4.2 system on my Samsung Galaxy S4, and switch to the Google Play software? I watched a comparison video and it looks and seems much better.
