i have this phone (1 sim only) and i am not able to modify the widget in home screen (news, clock/meteo, facebook limited)... neither it is possible delete/change these widget. if is possible to do this and how proceed? I have rom stock, unrooted.

I know I have seen it but now I can't find it, it's how you change the default home screen to one other than the middle one , I know it is in the same setting as reducing the number of home screens to 5 but I have searched everywhere, it may have been on an app I have deleted, can anyone help?

The phone is suppose to be fully customizable but it seems that the one thing I have yet to figure out is how to change where my home screen is located. I would much rather have my home screen set as the left most screen instead of having it directly in the middle of my seven available screens. You know, sort of like how the iphone is and what not. View 1 Replies View RelatedI don't text and actually have this feature disabled (I was receiving all kinds of spam and was told I'd either have to disable or pay for the spam texts).
Because of this, the text home screen (second from left when scrolling through the home screens) is useless to me. Is there a way to change the screen so that it's not a "text" screen? I tried adding a different widget and was told there was no space.
Is there any way to disable the screen that shows all the 7 screens after tapping the home screen? If not disable get rid of it all together.
Or maybe an app to do so?
Ii haven't made any big changes to my Desire and all was working well. suddenly a couple of days ago i noticed that things slowed down significantly.
exmples: when drawing the unlock screen, there is a big lag till the home screen comes up huge lag in opening programmes or menus
so, the only app i recently installed was the BA (british airways) android app. could this have affected the whole phone?
what steps can i take to check what might be wrong?looking at the SPARE PARTS app, i can see that CPU usage shows a huge bar for "init".i don't know if this is a normal process? anyone got info on this? might have nothing to do with my phone lagging of course.
I recently got my incredible and i love it, I have 2 issues with it, first is battery but you know downloading stuff all day long will tank a battery the other. I cannot put a picture on the wallpaper on my phone. If I do, it changes it to the HTC colors. I can however post any live wallpaper just not any pictures. This is become a great irritation and I am uncertain if this is a software or hardware problem.

On the button of my home screen I have 4 main icons Even if you switch to another screen those 4 stay on the bottom of the screen.
How can I change those icons to different programs?
Okay so here is another strange thing I noticed with the update.2 of the 3 phones that got the update now have a little home icon on the bottom of one of the touchwiz screens when you are in the edit mode. This page with the home icon can now be moved to whereever you want it in the positioning of the 1-7 screens you have and when you click on the "home" key at the very bottom it will go to that screen. Previously there was no home key and your home screen was either the middle or far left screen depending on the number of screens you had.

If I receive an SMS text message when I am away from my phone, most of the message can be read on my home screen by anybody near the phone. Is there anywhere in the settings to prevent this invasion of privacy happening?
