I have changed the wallpaper on both the lock screen and the home screen on my Saumsung Ace 2 phone, but the clock persists in staying with the default background (sky and clouds) on the home screen. I have even been into clock settings and changed the wallpaper there, but it seems to make no difference to the home screen.

View 6 Replies View RelatedEvery live wallpaper on my Nexus One works fine, except when I go to select the Polar Clock one it says that the live wallpaper process needs to be force quitted, and returns me to the home screen. Thus not allowing me to set that wallpaper.

View 16 Replies View RelatedBeen working my way through all the settings on my phone since rooting my Eris with KaosFroyo. Loving everything but a few minor glitches.
1. QuickProfiles does and FC when you try to edit a profile to change any of the Volume settings.
2. I would like an aquarium live wallpaper. None seem to work, even the smoke wallpaper included in the image. I have seen comments by Kaos that the LWP must be sized for Eris, but I see no way to check that. Particularly frustrating is that the preview works great.
3. I miss my default Eris digital clock and weather widget. Is there a separate install for that?
It seems like every time I reboot my phone, the live wallpaper is changed back to the last static wallpaper I have used.Does anyone else have this problems?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm doing it by going to chrome>google>images>wallpaper>save image>gallery>set as. But problem is it always seems to be low quality when I do it that way. The wallpapers aren't low quality it's 1920x1200. When I open them in images it always appears small, so I think I'm actually saving that small image.

But when I go to the lockscreen wallpaper in settings, it only allows me to choose a few OEM wallpapers. How can I get the apex wallpaper onto the lock screen?This is a minor annoyance, but is there a way I can theme the top of my phone where it tells me the time/cell signal to look like stock ICS? The touchwiz icons are really big and don't look that great, while taking up a lot of space.

I wanna use a pic of my wife and I from our honeymoon as my wallpaper, and I only have ONE page (as opposed to the 7 pages Vibrant comes as default). But the pic does not fit to the screen. View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to set a wallpaper from my own gallery, it only allows me to select a specific part of the picture. For example on the iphone I could resize the selection to fit the screen as much as I wanted. But the captivate sets a box and i cant make it bigger or smaller to select the entire wallpaper. and also doesn't matter how high res the picture is, it always looks blurry. Unlike the stock wallpapers, they look super sharp and clear. Anyone know what im doing wrong or how to fix it so i can choose to display an entire picture as my wallpaper rather than just a small portion?

I have tried a couple of free apps for alarm clock, but so far they all have too many quirks.
