Every live wallpaper on my Nexus One works fine, except when I go to select the Polar Clock one it says that the live wallpaper process needs to be force quitted, and returns me to the home screen. Thus not allowing me to set that wallpaper.

I downloaded Polar clock off of the market, and I can not remove it from my Droid. I cant find it in the market and it is stored in my live wallpapers only. Any one have any ideas.
View 2 Replies View RelatedBeen working my way through all the settings on my phone since rooting my Eris with KaosFroyo. Loving everything but a few minor glitches.
1. QuickProfiles does and FC when you try to edit a profile to change any of the Volume settings.
2. I would like an aquarium live wallpaper. None seem to work, even the smoke wallpaper included in the image. I have seen comments by Kaos that the LWP must be sized for Eris, but I see no way to check that. Particularly frustrating is that the preview works great.
3. I miss my default Eris digital clock and weather widget. Is there a separate install for that?
Is there a app I can use the have the nexus live wallpaper on it, I tried the one off the market in it kept on fc on me so that's why I'm asking for help, someone out there please help and I don't no how to root. so can someone please help me asap.

Oddly, other downloaded wallpapers do not have this problem.Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix for it?

My first N1 (T-Mobile purchased day one) developed a tiny dead pixel after about a week of use. I returned it to HTC and the replacement I got didnt have any but about a week after I got it, a dead pixel appeared on it. The phone was stolen so I never called HTC. I just bought an ATT N1 and again it's perfect to start. I know nothing about how electronics work but I wonder if:
-Could a specific live wallpaper cause this? I used the Grass one on both previous models.
-Could the dock cause this? When you place it in dock the screen dims and you get that floating clock. I wonder if extended stay on the dock could be the cause?
Or like I said maybe just not the best quality parts.
As stated in the title, would it be possible for someone to turn the nexus one bootup animation or even the Droid boot up animation into a live wallpaper?

Well anyways I installed Evil Eris 3.0 and it works great and all but I wanted to try live wallpapers so when I flashed the live wallpapers.zip after installing Evil eris a lot of the icons, pngs, user interfaces, etc. are messed up.
