Samsung Vibrant :: Weather - Clock Widgets
Jul 25, 2010Is there a way to combine two widgets like a weather and clock one to make them be on the same line side by side? Something that is 2x1 size each I believe.

View 15 RepliesFor some reason it shows 103 degrees no matter the time or location. The city changes and the low/high temps change but not the current temperature. Any else ran into this?
View 15 Replies View RelatedLooking for ideas. Since this is fairly new to me, I like to have several styles to play around with and didn't want to purchase Beautiful widgets or something similar just yet.
View 22 Replies View RelatedGenerally my location is detected normally but on occasion i get a number instead of the town i am in on the home screen clock widget. Same goes with the weather widget. I know its not a problem with the town information because sometimes it works and generally does so after being at the location for awhile. However today, for example, my location at work simply displays as "5". It has not updated itself after about 8 hours and counting. Friday it was fine.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI had uninstalled the Weather Widgets app with the HTC style flip clock because I had falsely believed it was causing some FC crashed on my Droid. When I re-installed it, it appears that the flip clock now defaults to a transparent backing with white lettering. Is there any way to get it back to plain white with black lettering? I haven't installed any extras...just the default. Attached is a screen cap of what the flip clock looks like now. I want to get it back to the traditional HTC style flip clock look. Any ideas?

View 36 Replies View RelatedI have tried several clock widgets but none keep time accurately. They are always behind the time on the task bar. I made sure that my task killer is not closing it. What else could be causing this. Please be gentle if it's an obvious fix. I'm a newbie with my first android phone.
View 2 Replies View Relatedanyone else having problems after the update to ***od's weather forecast & clock widget? i just updated mine and now it's having "connection to server" problems..?
nice update
I just came from a Droid Eris, and the clock/weather widget was spot on as far as changing weather and showing the correct location based on my location in the network. My Fascinate came with the Weatherbug one, but only updates if you refresh. Has anyone found one for the Fascinate that updates correctly?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the EVO and just got my wife the epic. I would like to put the digital clock with weather that I have on my evo on her phone; Also would like to add the favorites widget that comes with the evo as well. Does anyone know where I can acquire these?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI think this would be really nice while being useful. I did a search in the market but only about nine results come up. I would pay for a HTC sense weather like widget that was actually a live wallpaper.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOk so I have created about 8 different clock widgets and I am trying to combine all of them into one clock pack... Is there anyway to combine 8 clocks into one apk file to put on the market place?
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently I installed BHMAN's 1.6 ROM without TW, and I'm having a problem where sometimes my clock widgets stop refreshing the time.
Now i've searched for this problem and usually the best solution to this is to delete any task managers installed, which I cannot because the task manager is embedded into Home++, so I'm thinking the only way to get rid of the task manager is to delete the whole Home++, correct? I'm using ADW launcher at the moment.
I tried removing it and adding it back about ten times and it still won't show the weather..just says "my location" under the clock. If I click on the clock and load it, I can then click on the clock and it will load the weather screen, updated and all...but it still refuses to load it on the home screen with the time. Happened a few days after froyo update. How can I get the weather back as part of the clock widget??
View 1 Replies View Relatedi read that quite a few people were having trouble with the preloaded clock and weather app.. on my htc wildfire it worked ok for the first couple of days then all ofa sudden it wouldnt show my localitys weather and all i get is some place called Bradston or something like that in america? only thing is im in australia anyone know whats going on?
View 1 Replies View RelatedUpgraded myself from a Spica to Galaxy S recently and absolutely loving it.
Quick Question - When I got the phone, it had a Clock/watch on it where the current weather was its background or dial. I think it was a widget of the daily brefing App.
I dragged it to the Trash can thinking that I will replace it later like all other Apps.
Can someone help me get it back on, I cant seem to be able to do so. Tried installing the daily briefing as a widget, but the watch dosent come back.
Was wondering if anyone has used both and if so, which one is better and why you think so.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just installed BW along with launcherpro...and while I do enjoy launcherpro, BW sucks because the weather is like 20 degrees off and no matter what I do, it stays that way. Basically, nothing I've seen is better than HTC Sense weather clock. Are there any GOOD alternatives to BW that includes a clock and weather animations or at least a good weather/clock combination?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just installed beautiful widgets but it's not updating the time. i have advanced task manager installed but have beautiful widgets as an exception so it won't kill it. same thing with other time widgets as well.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAnyone else having problems with the Weather Widgets app clock not refreshing? The weather seems to do its job every 30 minutes, but the clock gets stuck at times. Like today, it was 3 hours off. Anyone know of a fix for this? I checked for updates, but no luck.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a couple different weather apps.
I recently purchased Beautiful Widgets.
It has been raining hard all day, and even with GPS update activated, it said it was cloudy all day and it seemed to be about 4-5 degrees off every other site.
Is anyone else having Beautiful Widget mis-weather info?
On the homescreen...no weather picture. If I open up the weather, there is no big picture the thre small ones on the bottom for the forcast show pics. I read some older posts that show problems similar with the problem being googles weather service. I have tried using just the zipcode...Just the use local...nothing makes it show the weather pic.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI know there have been some problems with BW updating but my question is, does it's capability run on its own or does it rely on the pre-installed weather files? Just trying to clean up my ROM and remove as many apps as possible.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was wondering, maybe I have a bad .apk but for some reason when it's night, it will still show a sun, wtf? It'll show the correct temp, for example, right now it's 66* but it's showing a bright sun saying 'clear', umm it's clear, but there is NO sun in sight lol. How can I fix this or is this the same on the N1?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am curious if anybody else has a problem with the weather app that is default when you use android. I have the HTC Hero. I really like the look of the big clock with the weather. But the weather on mine is WAY OFF and it drives me crazy. The cweather is always 8-14 degrees off from what the real temp is and the weather icon is also off most of the time. It may be cloudy and it will show rain. or it may be sunny and it will show partly cloudy. Now I know that they must use a tower that is not close to my house. But I live in a small town and there is no way that the temp is 14 degrees hotter 3 miles away at the same elevation. this is frustrating because I really like the look of the clock/weather widget. I just use the weather channels widget and it is close to spot on. But it does not have the same look as HTCs. I also used weather bug and it was off too. Not as bad as HTCs but still off.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to remove the weather icon from underneath the clock? I have turned off all GPS and auto update settings to conserve battery life so the icon under the clock is always wrong so it seems pointless that I even have it there.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI seem to have lost the Current Location from my clock widget, deleted it and re installed but it doesn't update my location and just sits empty.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI love the little animations for weather, such as the windscreen wipers, but I'm not that keen on the combined clock and weather widget that seems to be the only thing that powers them.
Are there any other 3rd party weather widgets that have the animations, or similar?
I saw one mentioned somewhere a couple of days ago but I'm damned if I can find it!
