Is there any way to keep the screen lock clock on the desktop when the phone is unlocked? I like the style and haven't found anything similar (yet).
Perhaps this has been addressed previously, but i haven't found an answer yet. every picture i put up on my lockscreen wallpaper gets cut off by that stupid lock bar with the clock on it. does anyone know how to make that go away or transparent at least? it is driving me crazy and i haven't "found an app for that" yet.

The reason being I would like to have a nice bright lock screen image but a normal black background for when apps and widgets are all over it.

View 8 Replies View RelatedWhat uI downloaded a wallpaper off of Mabilo Wallpapers to the SD card, but when I try to go in and set it as my locks creen background, it won't come up. I went into Astro, and it says my phone can't recognize the file type...but then if I specify to open the file in Astro as an image, it will.Got any ideas on what I can do to make this work? I have tried deleting it and re-downloading it many times.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to do it? I took a picture in portrait that fits the Droid X screen size perfectly and I want to use that as my wallpaper. I have scrollable wallpaper off and don't use the landscape mode for the home screen. I have that turned off as well. So really it makes no sense and its highly annoying.
I made a video to show what I was talking about because its kind of hard to explain...or some people just don't get it. Whatever if you don't understand let me know and I'll post the link up to youtube after its done uploading.
Annoying that when I go to select a wallpaper, the "Pictures" option pulls up every single image on my SD card (icons for apps, CD art, etc.), when all I want it to do it pull images from my "Wallpaper" folder.
Is there any way to customize what images get pulled? Can folders (like CD art) be hidden from gallery view so that they don't show up in the "Pictures" list?
Just got the droid 2. im a android lover now lol. But i have a question..is there anyway i can lock the wallpaper so when i slide to other screens the picture will not move when i swipe? or is that how its gotta be?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI want to switch from Droid Mod to Cyanogen, but start on a clean slate. I want to be sure that SU, root, busy box, and everything else included with initial rooting will be completely gone from my phone. It's my understanding that doing a factory reset will not accomplish any of these for me. Any help would be great, also do I have to worry about my over clock settings. Ideally I would hope that the processor will return to a normal clock setting when root is removed. Is this true?

View 45 Replies View RelatedThought some others might be interested in doing this if they haven't already. First off, you need root access to do this, and I am not responsible for any damage you may do to your device.
1. Download any font to your SD card. Make sure it is a TrueType font (most are) but double check anyway. Check out dafont.com for a huge selection of fonts.
2. Rename this font to Clockopia. Make sure the "C" is capitalized.
3. Now, open up Root Explorer (or any other file manager with root access) and navigate to system/fonts/.
4. Long click on Clockopia.ttf and copy it.
5. Paste it on your SD Card somewhere and rename it to something like Clockopia-Original. This way you always have a backup.
6. Now, long-click and copy your new downloaded Clockopia. Don't paste it anywhere yet.
7. Navigate back to system/fonts/ and press the "Mount R/W" button.
8. Long click on Clockopia.ttf and press "Delete"
9. Paste the new Clockopia in its place.
10. On the new Clockopia.ttf, long click and press "permissions". Check all the boxes under "Read" and the user box under "Write".
I have looked all over, and I can't find any answers - Can you change the font of the lock screen clock? Or can you change the clock out for other clock widgets?
