I have downloaded the official BitTorrent Beta app countless of times. But when I've installed MIUI it says device incompatible. Although I've downloaded countless of times. And I'm not comfortable using other clients because this is the best one. So, any apk for it?

I am using Eclipse helios and android sdk r_06.But the phone where i am want to run my application has platform 1.6.how do make this application run on that phone with that platform because when i installed the application it gave me error "incompatible platform","package corrupted","package not found".how do i make it compatible?also in eclipse when i changed target name as "Android 1.5" it gave me error in res folder tellin "invalid resources directory"
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a fix/hack to get BitTorrent Sync to use my ethernet connection? I got the same issue on both Android 4.2.2 and 4.4.2 on my Radxa Rock.
BitTorrent Sync isn't able to use my ethernet connection to sync files. All other apps I have tried so far is using the ethernet connection to get online but it seems like BitTorrent Sync only recognizes Wi-fi and mobile connections. I have tried enabling the settings to enable it to sync over mobile thinking it would try to sync on anything available but it did nothing.
My internet package is capped but has unlimited usage between 2am to 8am. I have an internet stick (MK808B) running rooted jelly bean connected to my TV that I want to use as an overnight torrent client, but am having no luck finding a solution to the scheduling problem.
I've looked for an android torrent client with a scheduler or a firewall application that can block an app during specific times of day, but have found neither.
I recently rooted my galaxy 2 sgh-t989d. Then i installed some root apps including tor and every app on my phone goes through tor now. My bittorrent still worked. In between I think I flashed a clockwork recovery mod through rom manager. Now my torrents won't start and get no peers. I've tried utorrent and bittorrent.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just setup Bittorrent Sync on my Motorola Razr M and Nexus 10 so that all photos taken on my phone can be viewed on both devices. The sync has worked as far as I can tell (if I go into BT sync on the tablet i can view all the files downloaded to the device and view them by clicking on them individually). The only problem is that if I go into my Gallery on my tablet it has not automatically detected the photos, even though when I click on them via BT Sync the are displayed using the gallery app.
How I can make my Gallery automatically show them in my albums? It seems to show other random photos (ie. album covers from music folders I have transferred over) but no the ones I want. I was under the impression that the Gallery app did automatically index all the photo files on the device.
I have MT6628 mobile phone with android 4.0.4 with kernel version 3.0.13.
I have read somewhere about changing something in the packages.xml file so i attached mine, what exactly i have to delete/add/edit/whatever

I have tried putting it directly to /system/app, and I also have followed this guide [URL] ....., but with no result. It seems to rebuild this file in the reboot, so it's useless. I have a chinese phone without CWM recovery, so I can't flash anything, but I do have root. How to install Google play services in any way!
View 9 Replies View Relatedmy girl just updated her s4 to 4.4.2 a couple days ago. She cannot download anything, it is giving her a "Former Volume not mounted" error. We have tried:
1) restarting phone
2) Unmounting SD Card and mounting back
3) Uninstalling app and reinstalling
I assume it is cause in 4.4.2 Samsung changed the read/write permissions regarding 3rd party apps. She says that she cannot even save the file location to the internal memory to save it, then move it when its done.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI think I may know why this is happening, but I don't feel like doing a full nandroid reinstall and losing my data before I ask. I'm getting "incompatible update" errors when trying to reinstall Facebook and Mixzing. Now, I had those apps installed and working on my previous ERE25 based ROM, however, I was at the time using the Dark 24K theme, which modified them. When I went to ESE53, I didn't nandroid, I just used update.zip, and that of course reinstalled the stock theme, which may be causing the problem. It's not showing those two apps in my installed apps list. When I check them in the market, they show "installed", but I am able to redownload and reinstall them, I just get the error during install.

I have 3 Galaxy Player 5 ( YP-G70 with 3 capacitive buttons ), only one of the actually have a working rom that i flashed a while ago.
The other two have a different rom that only have the back and menu button working ( the home button doesn't respond )
Is there a way for me to take the Rom and kernel off the working galaxy player so i can install it into the other two ?
Can someone explain a couple of very simple concepts to me - I'm interested in mobile devices running android and how they are identified over networks. Some scenarios: Device is connected over WiFi - presumably the device has a standard IP address as with any host and can communicate with any other android host over TCP/IP (assuming it knows the participating device's IP? device is connected over bluetooth - how are devices identified in this case? device is connected over mobile operator's network - this is the one I'm interested in and confused by - is there anyway for two or more devices to discover each other and communicate via the mobile operator's network? How does a device communicate with a backend server in this scenario? In other words, how do apps and devices communicate when not connected to a WiFi network?

I have created my database using sqliteman browser b/c I have to insert a bulk data before the app starts. I have four tables in my db and call each in different activities and created all on the sqliteman. after the data is inserted I pull back the db onto the data folder of the emulator. it works perfect on the emulator but failed on the device. when I try to pull my db on the real device, it shows access denied problem

How do I map the device Y axis to the screen Y axis?I can't figure this out.I'm the developer of Tricorder, and I'm trying to make it so that the accelerometer and magnetometer indicators I draw always point in the right direction.On the G1 phone with the slider closed, all is well.But when I open the slider, I end up showing that gravity is pulling me to the left (if the phone is held with the display vertical).So, I know that the device, and hence sensor, Y axis is always in the direction of the earpiece; and the screen Y axis changes when I open the slider.And I know that I can use remapCoordinateSystem() to change the device axes to match the screen axes.But where do I find out what the device's orientation is?In other words, how do I compute the correct values for the X and Y parameters to remapCoordinateSystem()?

I have a standalone GPS enabled data recorder in my car that can function as either a USB host or device. (Its a class 0x00h USB device). I currently connect to it via a WM 6.5 app running on my Palm Treo 750. I would like to port my WM 6.5 app to an Android phone. (I don't have a specific Android phone in mind, I would like it to be as generic as possible).Replicating the GUI is not that difficult, but I am having trouble getting started on the USB communication. I'd appreciate it if someone could point me towards an example, or the appropriate tutorial.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm using the android plugin for eclipse, and when I try to run my program using a real device through the android device chooser, my phone is not listed as a device. I have updated eclipse and all of the android packages, but it still isn't showing up. My phone is running 1.6, which is also the target version listed in the eclipse project.Also, the reason I decided to try testing on a real device is because the emulator doesn't seem to be working right anymore when I run my project. The emulator launches, but the program never does. Any ideas?(using windows 7/t-mobile mytouch 3g)

This is on my tablet and I still have the older version on my phone. How can I copy the older version from the phone to the tablet? Or can I? I came from WEBOS and ROOTING a device meant typing a string into the device and the Superuser icon will show up.
In and Android device I would like to know what exactly the rooting process is doing. Is it turning on a icon? is it actually creating the icon? is it different for different devices? etc
So all of a sudden my phone will not connect to any computer regardless of what usb cord I use. I get a message that pops up in windows that says "USB Device Not Recognized" yet my phone is charging. I've wiped multiple times and reflashed my rom and still no luck. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the USB drivers but it didnt do anything. I really need to be able transfer a ton of files to my sd card from my computer.
