My phone networks 3g and WiFi have lags.. In WiFi mode it connects but network is not found.. In 3g mode it takes so long to on even google.com.. First time i did it worked fine then few days ago i sent the phone into bootloop and then did it second time two days ago..

i have rooted my galaxy note 8 with framaroot jus to use a mouse and keyboard emulator no to do anyhing technical or some ROM things and then i " regretfully" have updated the device to jelly bean 4.2.2 and now i am lost im not rooted and though i have the supersu app installed and stuck , it cannot be uninstalled.i have ried to use root manager to remove the file from inside , it tells me it has been removed however it is not also it cannot be opened it tels me " there is not SU binary installed , and superSU canot install it , this is a problem" tried to re-root the devise again , downloaded the latest framaroot . i doesnt work and tells me " failed ry anoher exploit if available" all of the other options are giving me the same thing.

Symptoms
1. Not able to boot, Phone completely dead
2. Not able to go into bootloader
3. While connecting with SP flash tools, it just kept on beeping nothing happened, after a long while it somehow got connected but it threw me attached error.
I'm encountering some problems when i'm trying to update my Hyundai T7S tablet to the official jelly bean 4.2 ROM.
I've the update from the Hyundai website (hyundai-digital .cn). This download comes in a .rar file. I knew it would be impossible, but tried anyway to flash this file from the SD-card. But to make it work this way, the update should be a .zip-file.
In the .rar file are 15 files, some of them are .bin and .img files. And I've not the knowledge what I can do with these files. Unfortunately the support guide of Hyundai can not be opened and two hours Google.
Is it possible to convert the .rar file into a .zip file and flesh this file? Or can I flash the rar-file in some way?
I am porting a WiFi driver to ANDROID JB-MR1 using a proprietary tarball for a MIPS based platform. When I build and load ANDROID binaries, everything is fine -- except that, I am unable to see Wireless & Networks options on the Settings screen. All the 3 options related to Wireless & Network settings (to enable WiFi, Bluetooth and Data usage) have disappeared from the settings page. However all other items in the page are in tact.
* I am able to build, load the WiFi driver, launch wpa_supplicant and even scan for Routers using command line (wpa_cli).
* I think I have all the changes needed in hardware/libhardware_legacy/wifi/wifi.c
* My frameworks/base/packages/SystemUI/AndroidManifest.xml file has the entry:
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.CHANGE_WIFI_STATE " />
I updated my Xperia SL to jelly bean 2 days back in India.The issue i'm facing is it taking more then 9 hours to charge my phone to 100% and its discharging very fast. How to rectify that issue.

I select the page where all the apps are...select xbmc app...sometimes it flicks back to main apps page other times the screen turns black/blank. I can't get further than this page....my box has worked perfectly for the past 3 months since purchasing. I can't get into the settings page as I can't get past the blank .

1.Well I got the CM10 on a I9000 and i installed flash player on it. I used an old version of dolphin(from some thread) so i could enable flash.But whenever i go to a website to check out some videos it either says "You must install flash" or the website doesnt load.
2.I originally used opera 11.0.2 to play flash but now whenever i start a flash content it crashes with no errors.

How can I sort this out and keep them on the SD card? I've tried moving them to the phone storage and the pics come back, but as soon as i move them back to sd card they're gone again!

Cleared cache, nothing. Cleared data, it got as far as letting me accept terms and in the notification bar told me I had apps to update, but then shut down again. As far as I can remember Play Store was working before I updated.
I updated on a rooted Galaxy S 3. I was running stock everything, I believe. I had only changed the camera shutter noise.
I am using the AT&T SGH -1337 Samsung Galaxy S4. Android version 4.2.2. Unlocked to work with T-Mobile, USA. I am unable to uupdate the phone to any other build because it checks AT&T servers for updates. Since I am on Tmobile, it will never find updates. II've tried to use Kies. But it says my phone isn't supported or that the baseband isn't supported. correct direction on any way to manually update this device.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI don't know if the problem is the O.S. or the stock SMS app (Messages v5.0.582145). But here's the problem:
Most of the time I have a notification icon when I have unread SMS. But sometimes I don't get the notification. The issue seems to occur when I am in one SMS thread and a message comes in on another thread. Or if I leave the app running with a single thread open (as opposed to the "All messages" screen). So I end up with unread SMS messages and no notification. The consequence is that I don't see the stupid message until hours or a day later when I happen to notice the little blue line next to one thread while on the "All messages" scren. The blue line indicates "new/unread message" in the Messages app.
I think it's a bug either in the google O.S. or the google SMS app "Messages". I'm not asking for your favorite notification app.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI seem to have a problem I have rooted and unlocked my bootloader and flased with rom Carbon 4.3.1on my HTC HD Desire Phone. Everything runs fine except the data don't seem to work even though the correct settings has been applied. Whats so weird it comes on for like an hour then don't come back on again. I have had the rom installed for like 3 days now and it has come 4 times. I have tried switching off the phone, trying different settings also my mum and bro have the same network and same apn settings in my phone is in theres. The apn settings work fine in the stock rom.
Edit - Also I will like to add that the data flickers on and off. The H sign next to the bars
I am considering purchasing an unlocked Xperia ZR and i have At&t network. Can i udate the software once i put my at&t sim card in this ZR because the phone will come with 4.1 installed but i have read it is elligible for an update to 4.2. My question is, since it isnt technically an at&t phone but rather an unlocked phone i just put my sim in, will it still update?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S Advance Gt I1970, running under Android 4.1.2 (official update). the problem is when i try to play games that require the phone sensors, for example Angry Birds Go or Frisbee Forever, the player always go to the left, but then i tried "Ridiculous Fishing" which is also a game that require sensors and it works perfectly but this game doesn't rotate the phone to the landscape mode, then i tried an application called "accelerometer test" and the result was as expected, i can control the ball when am holding the phone in portrait position bust when it's in landscape, everything is missed up.
UPDATE : Problem fixed by downgrading to ginger bread, re-calibrate horizontal acceloremeter and then update to jelly bean again.

I am currently on a GS3 on 4.3 using the stock messaging app.
I think downloading is disabled, but can't find it under settings/apps, so I can't find a way to enable it. Play store won't open. My browser does not have the menu button (square with three bars in it). I am using new Nexus 7 with Android 4.3.1.

I have my work address saved in Google Maps as "work," just like I have my home address saved under "home." The "navigate to home" voice action works perfectly: it always pulls up directions to my home. The "navigate to work" voice action NEVER works, it always pulls up Google search for the phrase "navigate to work."
I need the functionality because I require directions to work often.
PS I can search "work" in Google Maps and it does pull up my work address.
I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 and was today notified that an update was ready. I installed this which was the upgrade to 4.2.2
However since then, none of my apps will work. There is a short pause before I get:
"Unfortunately Coin Dozer has stopped"
"Unfortunately Lookout has stopped"
"Unfortunately Tiny Castle has stopped"
"Unfortunately Candy Crush Saga has stopped"
etc.
I tried a reboot a couple of times but that didn't work. Checked to see if Upgrades were available for all affected apps but there are none.

I tried Viber and Tango, Both doesn't open multi window or support any. I know it can't be open two of them on the same window but it should be open with other apps on the same window on Galaxy Note 3. Some other apps like Chaton, Youtube can be open two windows on the same screen ( it has two split windows so you can watch two different youtube on the one window. For example, you can open two differnt snow boarders on one window and compare them. It is awesome.). Multi window mode works with other apps fine.
