Does anyone know if there's a shortcut to delete a word at time when writing txts etc. I tried the tip for the g1 of pressing menu and delete but couldn't get it to work.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently installed Simply Stunning 3.2 rom and its running fine so far, however I have a bit of a problem with a shortcut that I made with bettercut. I made shortcut for contacts with bettercut but when I try to use it, it tells me the application is not installed. Now I have encountered this before and found that I could fix it by deleting the duplicate shortcut that bettercut makes on the built in home launcher (I use helix). My problem with this new rom is that it doesn't have the home launcher installed and only has helix and helix 2. Due to this, I have no way to open the android home launcher. My question is, there a place that shortcuts are saved even though the home launcher isn't installed? If so where is that directory so I can remove the dupe shortcuts?

2) Is there a directory where all the contents of the home-screen are stored and, if there is, is there a way to update the contents of this directory?
I am loving swype, especially since I only have one arm (the others in a cast). Is anyone else having issues with the word list not popping up when you double click on a word? This has never worked for me. I have the newest version.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhy does the text entry always ask me to confirm the last word of a sentence that ends with something other than a period? It's kind of annoying (using Handcent) to have to press on the spellchecked word before moving on or sending a text message. Sometimes I can just hit send, and sometimes it just blinks at me until I confirm that, yes, I did want to end my message or sentence with "Why?" or whatever happens to be at the end.
Annoying. Anything I can do to get rid of this?
How do I type a word without adding it to my dictionary? Say I'm purposely misspelling a word for an example of something like "haha, you totally just typed computer instead of computer" but I don't want to add that word/use the word it suggests. I can't figure it out!
