Jul 10, 2010Seriously, emulation is not good for performance, but most roms running on gensoid look and play better that games developed for Android. Sonic 3 looks lovely, runs at 60fps and never stutters. It even seems to look higher rez than most Android apps.Android platformer games are nowhere near as good looking or smooth.So what the hell is going on? The hardware on top end Android phones (Desire, galaxy etc) is clearly capable.

Sep 20, 2010I carry my phone in my pants pocket and all day long it will intermittently sound a triple note. I take the phone out, turn it on and nothing...no notifications, no calls, nothing. I try pressing everywhere on the phone, power on/off switch, volume rocker, all around the phone front, back, sides, top, bottom and every combination I can think of but I can't duplicate the sounds. Also, the sound is unlike any that I can find on the phone Anyone have any ideas about what to do? Much as I love the SF, if this continues, it will be returned!

Nov 17, 2009Love the Eris so far...minus 1 glitch which is hopefully user error. Has anyone else had a problem with it calling from your pocket? It has happened to me a few times the passed couple of days (just picked up the phone this weekend) where the screen is somehow activated in my pocket, possibly after a missed call or text, which results in "pocket dial". Is there an alternative method to "unlock" the screen so maybe it doesn't happen so easily? This is my first touch screen to maybe there is a trick I don't know about.

Jul 7, 2010My EVO has been answering phone calls in my pocket. I've even "butt dialed" a couple of people when I forgot to turn of the screen before sticking it in the pocket.
If I forget to turn off the screen, that's my fault, but the screen turns itself on when the phone rings.
