I am an instructor in the military.I have an instructor evaluation coming up and I am looking for an application that might be able to help me out. When I am instructing a class I have to ask a question every three to six minutes. No more no less. I was looking for an app that would vibrate in my pocket every four minutes. Does anyone know of an app like this?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to figure out how, but I recently met this girl, and we've been talking on the phone in the evening, and sometimes, I'll hear her voice coming from my pocket, and I'll dig my phone out and she'd be (at 2 am mind you) on the other end laughing at my horrible singing or whatever I was doing in the car. I called her 6 times yesterday from my pocket! Phone is locled and everything, 3 days ago, it was my mother. It's always the last person that called.so I can't understand how a locked phone is calling people like this!

I take the phone out, turn it on and nothing...no notifications, no calls, nothing. I try pressing everywhere on the phone, power on/off switch, volume rocker, all around the phone front, back, sides, top, bottom and every combination I can think of but I can't duplicate the sounds. Also, the sound is unlike any that I can find on the phone Anyone have any ideas about what to do? Much as I love the SF, if this continues, it will be returned!
View 16 Replies View RelatedLove the Eris so far...minus 1 glitch which is hopefully user error. Has anyone else had a problem with it calling from your pocket? It has happened to me a few times the passed couple of days (just picked up the phone this weekend) where the screen is somehow activated in my pocket, possibly after a missed call or text, which results in "pocket dial". Is there an alternative method to "unlock" the screen so maybe it doesn't happen so easily? This is my first touch screen to maybe there is a trick I don't know about.

If I forget to turn off the screen, that's my fault, but the screen turns itself on when the phone rings.

This seems to happen regularly. The calls are always to the person who last called me. I think it happens when I've been playing with the phone and put it back in my pocket having forgot to turn the screen off first. It seems the phone is rubbing against my leg and answering the call. Obviously locking the phone does not help, since you can answer a call without unlocking the phone.
