I am looking to get an emulator for my magic nes sega im not to fussed but can anyone give me some advice on how to get them to work. I had them for my pc years ago but no clue how they work on a phone. Do I need to root my phone or anything like that?

I know that iphone users can jail break to get the old school emulators and I think that by now, there are some emulators in the apple market. My question is on a couple levels...
- Without jailbreaking, can you get roms on the iphone for free?
- If so how?
- How well does the on screen controller work
- Is the small screen you have to use on the iphone emu an issue?
Also add any feedback you like and your opinion as well. I'm just curious that's all. Hopefully one of you has experience in this field
How come there is no interest in running sega cd? There are a few good games for it, mainly Sonic CD. Would be nice to play that. Any idea if someone is working on an emulator for that? Or if gensoid will support it?

I before it had a iPhone and used it MASSIVELY for games, and want to use my HTC Hero for the same as well. I'm already going to be getting the new Game loft ones out, as well as the GBA Emulators etc. (Side note, do the Emulators run smoothly?) Since the Vibrant is touchscreen only I would have a hard time playing Nesoid, SNesoid, etc. I researched the app "Wiimote controller" but unfortunately it does not work for the Vibrant. Should I buy the Vibrant even though I use my phone to play emulators? Or should I just wait for the Samsung Epic or just buy the MyTouch Slide because both have physical keyboards?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm gonna be honest here... When I found out that i could have GBA and SNES emulators on my android, I made up my mind. I tryed it out a bit on my friend's Motorola Flipout and was working just perfectly. However, on my own Flipout, the games are all "laggy". Not to mention the music which plays one note every 1 second or so... bummer. I know it's not the ROM, for i have tested with the same one my friend used... so I'm guessing it's a setting in either the phone or the emulator. Any adeas? ps: I'm using the free versions of the gameboid and snesoid

View 27 Replies View RelatedI have a rooted Moment and just downloaded the lite version of the Genesis emulator because I want to test it out before i decide if i should buy it, or the SNES/NES ones. My questions are what are the best sites to download roms for these emulators and then how do you run them? I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to phones and OS's so any help would be great.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've noticed since I have updated to firmware 1.5 on my HTC Magic that I've been losing all types of audio intermittently.Example: I would be watching video on my Magic then the audio would suddenly cut out. This includes all types of notifications, alarms or ringtones.This is very disturbing cause it makes my phone very unreliable.I miss calls and messages and one time or another I overslept cause the alarm went off but there was no audio.I know its not a hardware issue cause once I reboot everything is normal again. I don't like rebooting all the time to fix this problem and worse you dont realize that you lost audio notifications until you do check your phone to discover you did.I've read on google forums of several other accounts of this but so far no solid solution.

playback of music using the htc magic (rogers) music player? I am getting some random blips of no audio when playing music. maybe a 1sec of no audio. Killed all tasks with taskiller and there is still the issue.

Sadly, the Android Market in Canada does not have any paid apps. I was just wondering is there any way I can put themes onto my phone? I find that it really sucks that I can't use any of the dxtop themes or openhome themes in the market unless I actually have the app itself (which I cannot purchase).
View 3 Replies View Relatednew to this site as never had any problems with my magic till today, my 2 year old to my horror threw it against the wall and the battery etc fell out, Fortunatly when i examined it there was no damage screen wasnt cracked or damaged or anything, however since ive turned it back on theres safe mode in transparetn writing at the bottom left of the screen and the touch screen doesnt work and every time i go into a process such as say contacts , i get the 'the process android.process.acore has stopped please try again everything works like i say i can go online but obviously without the use of the touch screen i cant type, nor can i send texts due to the lack of touchscreen so what can i do HELP PLEASE Or do i have to face facts and get in touch with my insurance ?
