Android :: Use Picture Of Dev Phone 1 In My App?

if I want the G1 (3D OpenGL model skinned like G1) to be the main character in my game. Will I get into copyright problem?Well this sounds silly I presume. Since the picture of G1 or ADP1 can be found anywhere. And there should be no reason at all to prohibit developer from using the G1 picture.But better safe than sorry so I asked here. I know this type of question should be answered "consult a lawyer". But well I don't expect a decisive answer here. Just want to hear your ideas for this type of things.

Just had a question, when someone sends you a picture message the picture comes up in the message screen like normal, but i was wondering how do i save that picture onto my phone?? is there a way? or do i just have to lock that text and view the picture like that. because if thats the case then this phone is to lame, but im gonna guess theres a way to save it cuz as everyone knows...Droid does

is there a way to get a contacts picture to show their facebook picture in timescape. I have linked all my contacts with their facebook accounts but it still shows the default white picture. I dont want to have to go through and take pictures of all my contacts. that would just be silly.Apologies if this has been asked before or is a simple fix. I'm new to this smart phone malarchy

How do i get peoples facebook picture to show up as their picture in my contacts. Right now my facebook picture shows up as Me, but none of the others are showing up. I even changed all my contact names to match the facebook page.

I use the backgrounds app, and it lets me save backgrounds to my SD card. I go into Astro/ sdcard/ backgrounds and then click on the picture. It gives me 2 options to open it. "ASTRO Image Viewer" and "View picture". For me to use it as a background I have to pull it up in "View picture", BUT....no matter how many times I try and pull it up that way, it shows me the first picture in my camera album. If I click "ASTRO Image Viewer", I can always see the picture I selected, but under menu, I only have the option to "share" and nothing else. Can you tell me why the selected picture won't show up in "View picture"?

About 1 out of every 3 times that I take a picture, my rooted Samsung Droid Charge turns itself off completely, and will not turn back on unless I pull the battery. I use Titanium Backup to freeze the enormous amount of bloatware.

I have both gmail and facebook synced to my phone and have chosen to only sync fbook contacts that are already in my gmail. Problem is the picture selection seems to be completely random. Some contact pictures are from gmail, some contact pictures are from fbook and some are from gmail when I first setup the phone and never changed. Is there an easy way to help the phone 'decide' which photo to go with?

I am trying to upload a picture to the "Picture of the Week." I have tried with Taptalk and with the Android Central App. Both of them give me a security error and tell me to contact and admin if problem persists. I am trying to upload a picture from my phone gallery. Does it have to be a picture taken at that time with the camera? Or do I have a setting wrong?

Was using odin 3 trying to get my phone to remove ota update . First time I ever tried anything like this . had worker and pick with phone downloading pit and pda. it stopped and all I have now is small phone triange stop sign and pc. I have no idea what to do did I brick it samsung vibrant.

I was taking a picture with my phone a little bit ago, and my phone locked up. None of the buttons would work and I couldn't hold power button down or nothing. So I pulled my battery out, let it sit for about 5min and put it back in. Now it's been about 10min and still on the "AT&T World Phone" screen. I'm going to just leave it on that screen and hope the battery dies all the way soon, then hook it up to the wall and see if it will turn on. I know the iphone has a way where you can reset a phone if it locks up, and of course i have my numbers backed up to my google account so I'm not worried about that. Don't really care about the videos/pictures I have on ther ebecause I typicall upload to youtube/flickr right after I take them.

How do I retain the usage of phone's contact picture instead of Facebook sync's pics? I just sync'ed and some of my contacts (that are also on Facebook) still used the original picture from my phone while some used FB's profile picture. is there an option that if the contact has picture already on the phone, then don't use FB's profile picture?

I am wondering if there is a way to post a picture I took with my X10 to my facebook account. Someone had told me, all I needed to do was long touch it and a set of options would appear to let me do that. But I am not getting the list of options. Am I doing something wrong? I like using Google play music but the application has been changing my album art around and i cant figure out how to change it back.I saved a picture to my external SD card and Google music decided to tag all the Unknown Artists with the picture, but it only seems to show up in Google Music.
I have multiple media players installed and only some of them recognize the art and display it.I have tried editing the tags but its like the images are not there like since the image was in the forlder it pretty much overwrote things.I have cleared the cache and data for google music rebooted my device with no luck.What are my options at this point to get this picture out the tags and off my phone.
