Jun 26, 2010Anyone else had the issue where if you send an MMS it's sent twice? I've only tested by sending to myself so far but each time I get two examples of the same photo, but within the same MMS if you see what I mean i.e. I don't get two separate messages. Very odd and bloody annoying if I'm getting charged 40p each time instead of 20p! (O2)

Oct 29, 2010I can see how to copy something (long press on screen, then tap "paper" that comes up), but am lost from there. It tells me the selection has been copied to the clipboard, but where is that? Or how do I go to some other screen and paste? Want to do this in mail, gmail, SMS and browser sometimes.

Nov 24, 2010I'm looking for a way to transfer all my phone's bookmarks (probably like 50 of them) to my computer. The only way that I've been able to find out how to do it is to physically email them to myself one by one. I would prefer not to have to do that. Does anyone know where the links are stored on the phone or know of a way to do what i'm looking for? I know google chrome can transfer chrome to phone but i was hoping for the other way around. Hopefully in bulk and not one by one. any ideas?

HTC Incredible :: Upgrading SD Card / Copy Files To Phone?
Oct 14, 2010Was thinking about upgrading my stock 2gb card to a 16 or 32 soon. So I have a few questions.
1)Since my Dinc is rooted, will I have to copy anything to the new card after formatting it, or should my phone remain unaffected?
2) I know there is class 2, 4, and 6, with each having faster read/write speeds and being quite a bit more. Will those speeds really make much difference when being used in my phone for backups, random files, apps, and music or videos?
3) Can I copy my sd card files to my phone's internal memory and transfer them that way? Or do I need to transfer them through my computer?

Jul 31, 2010Trying to figure out what happened today... I was out riding in the car, and ended up looking up the website for Mini Cooper (miniusa.com). Everything worked just fine on the site, though I was a little intrigued by the presence of some loading animations because I haven't (to my knowledge!) done the required degrees of hacking to get Flash working. I thought that was part of Froyo only, and that 2.1 couldn't play Flash.
Imagine my shock when said website was revealed, when I got home, to be flash-based. What the heck happened here?
My phone is rooted and running a Hydra kernel underneath the stock ROM, confirmed by checking my About Phone just now. I definitely haven't installed any app that I'm aware of that would explicitly enable Flash. So how did I do what I did?

May 17, 2010Is anyone else having a problem with their browser hanging to load a website and then the only thing that corrects it is restarting the phone? I have having zero issues with this phone except for this. And if not for this, I would probably rarely restart my phone. Sometimes I will pull up the browswer and the bar will fill with about 75% green and then just stop. I try to relaunch the browser, refresh and all of that good stuff to no avail. Once I restart the phone, everything is fine. I am using the stock browswer by the way. Is this a browswer problem? Should I try a different one? Or is it a phone/software problem?

Apr 20, 2010There's a few cases on the Verizon website for the incredible that weren't there yesterday when i pre-ordered. a clear snap on hard case, a high gloss silicone case in red or black a body glove case and a shell/holster case. the snap on one and shell one are the only ones "in stock." also have some privacy screen protectors.i think ill wait until i it comes out officially, hopefully there will be more options.

Aug 6, 2010I wasn't able to find my question in the forums so here goes:
Every time I go to download my photos from my phone (both SD card and internal), I end up downloading thumbnails and images from websites I've visited as well as people's avatars from foursquare. I end up having to delete hundreds of images every time I want to download my pix.
Any idea how to disable the downloading of the web stuff? (Can the phone differentiate web image from photos I've taken from the camera?) I've tried from both the phone side and the computer side and I can't figure it out. Also, is there any way to get my phone to stop storing these web images? I don't think I need them, do I? (I'm a newbie smartphone owner if you couldn't tell!)
