Installed phonebook 2 but can,t get it to sync with facebook(server error) i have used it before but have done a factory reset and now it will not sync. twitter sync works ok.

View 7 Replies View RelatedUsing appbrain on my PC seems to work fine when I'm not logged in. When I do log in and try to click on an app I get this error message:
"Error: Server Error The server encountered an error and could not complete your request. If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention this error message and the query that caused it."
Anyone else have this issue when using Appbrain on their pc?
Well, It looks like I solved the problem. I just deleted my account and created it again and it's fixed (for now).
I am using the android code to connect facebook but getting "Facebook Server Error + 104 - Incorrect signature" exception at the place of onLoginSuccess function. code is given bellow ....

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am new to the forums, hoping someone is able to assist me with some Exchange Server Contact sync problems. We are running Exchange 2007 (w/ SSL) and my mail and calendars sync no problem. But when it does the contacts, I get the error "Synchronization is experiencing problems" with no further message to the error. I have tried over WiFi and with the carriers network. This is on a fresh wipe of the device, I have tried deleting and re-adding the exchange account to the device but with the same error. I get approx 6 of my 325 contacts synced.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had a quick search and couldn't find any topics exactly the same as the problem I am having.
For the first ten days or so all my contacts were syncing fine on the Hero from my Exchange account. I then added a new contact in Outlook / Exchange and from this point on, every time I sync the exchange contacts it fails with a client / server conversion error in the notifications. I deleted said contact again in Outlook to no avail.
The mail and calendar are syncing fine, and I have an HTC Snap syncing to the same Exchange account on the same network (Orange UK) just fine (I know the latter is Windows Mobile but still...)
Any ideas? Or is there any way I can see a log of some sort to see why it is failing?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi just updated to 2.1 and i imported my gmail contacts but since my facebook account is added to it decided to add facebook contacts..i keep trying to delete my contacts but it says too much even when i delete a couple at a time i keep deleting all of them then i import from my backup contacts on sd and it still brings me my fb ones somehow even though they arent on there Google contact sync doesnt sync anything at all its broken i just want my google contacts synced not my facebook contacts there are soem more random facebook contacts that it wont let me delete in my contacts and they dont show up in all contacts.

The process com.htc.bgp constantly force closed, and no linking could be made or is some cases only a part of the facebook contacts were synced.

View 6 Replies View RelatedThis seems to be a very annoying feature if there is not a way to disable it (and I can't find one). I have my google contacts all set up and they are the only things I want in my phone book. I know in "people" I can just show google, but when I got to dial a number, all of my facebook friends with numbers show up too. For some reason they are showing up in my google contacts too (when I log into gmail on my computer). It is nice how the facebook picture syncs with my contacts, but that is all I want, not everyone on else facebook who are not in my google contacts.

I am using the Kenwood KCA-BT300 and as soon as it connects to the EVO, it starts to download the phone book. My phone book has about 900 contacts, so it's taking FOREVER. While it's downloading the book, I am not able to make calls from the stereo unless I start the call from the EVO. I would like to EVO to STOP sharing the phonebook via BT...is that possible and if so how? And out of curiosity, has anyone else had any issues like this and the Kenwood BT unit?

Wen i tried to do this manually per contact, some fb persons do not appear in my "choose contact" list however the contact has the same name in my phone as on facebook ? It appears that the sync is random in choosing the contacts and some contacts'fb profile don't appear if u do the sync manually ? Anyone with the same problem? Example: a friends name is Bianca in my phone, on her facebook profile the same name followed by familyname, but my phone doesn't find her profile when i search manually.

Two customers were able to purchase my app from a foreign country (Europe).
However, when I'm trying to buy my own application from the US (using my G1 phone) using a valid debit or credit card number, I consistantly get a "server error" during the purchase process. I suspect I'm not the only one and I'm losing customers.
What is the right structure at google to help resolve this ? In the market blogs, I've seen few posts of people facing the same issue but nothing to help resolve this was detailed.
How the hell do you delete the pre installed facebook app? i can't seem to get rid of it only can force stop it but its still there. I don't use it and want rid of it. Does anybody know.

Here is the process I followed:
1. I created a simple application 2. Using eclipse, I exported it as an unsigned application package. (Android Tools/Export as an unsigned application package). This resulted in a .apk file. 3. Using keytool, I generated a keystore, with which I signed the application using jarsigner. 4. Using zipalign tool, I aligned the package. 5. I linked the apk file to my website, where I can download the app.
I verified all the above processes.
When I download the app, and tried to install, it says "Application not installed".
I am not knowing what resulted in this error.
