How can I have my x10 mini pro display my contacts' chosen picture (as saved in the phonebook) and not the contact's picture from facebook? I don't necessarily want to separate the contact from their facebook profile.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my 2.1 update this week in Belgium. As i was synchro'ing my facebook contacts in my phonebook, i noticed that my phone doesn't sync all my contacts with facebook. Wen i tried to do this manually per contact, some fb persons do not appear in my "choose contact" list however the contact has the same name in my phone as on facebook ? It appears that the sync is random in choosing the contacts and some contacts'fb profile don't appear if u do the sync manually ? Anyone with the same problem? Example: a friends name is Bianca in my phone, on her facebook profile the same name followed by familyname, but my phone doesn't find her profile when i search manually.

I have linked all my contacts with their facebook accounts but it still shows the default white picture. View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to get Facebook profile pictures assigned to internal phone contacts, but cant get it to work. I installed the recently updated Facebook app, at the first launch it asked me if I want to sync my contacts, I selected Sync with exisiting contacts (later I selected Sync all since first option didnt work) but still profile pictures are not being fetched. I can now see facebook contacts in my main contact list, and I can link them with my phone contacts (manually), but profile picture is still blank. When I click the View profile (facebook) link of a particular contact I'm taken to my profile page instead of the person i clicked on. And when I select Edit and go to Facebook tab there is an error with an exclamation mark with the message "Unable to edit SNS contacts on phone".

when opening the phonebook and are about to sync contacts to sim, I dont get the Option as mentioned in the manual. I only get the Copy from sim, sync etc. How come? There must be some way to copy contacts to sim

Every contact has at least one assigned category, and some have multiple categories. I can filter my contacts on the X10 Mini Pro, which greatly assists in finding people, but I can't see any way to add a category tag to a new contact. I've looked at all the manuals I can find, and don't see this point addressed. Lots of information about adding photos and Timescape, but nothing useful.

After i off & on and inserted the SD card, take 1 or 2 picture(s), it will prompt me again. Then, watever picture(s) (the latest one) was not saved... I can only view all the old pictures only Next, when i deleted all the pictures in the album, they will still appear again after i off & on the phone... Tried deleted them from the Media Go but still after off & on, they will appear again.

I am wondering if there is a way to post a picture I took with my X10 to my facebook account. Someone had told me, all I needed to do was long touch it and a set of options would appear to let me do that. But I am not getting the list of options. Am I doing something wrong? I am browsing my pictures via mediascape.
On occasion I am unable to load Facebook on my X10 mini pro. I receive the message An error occured while fetching data. [null] I can send/receive texts and email so this is not a signal issue. Point to note, I purchased an unblocked vodaphone pay as you go for my pay monthly tmobile sim.

View 2 Replies View RelatedEarlier in 1.6 after I look for a contact and view it and press back. It used to come to that position itself but now whenever I press back after viewing a contact, it goes back to the initial position of contacts (i.e. the contacts starting with letter A).
Example in 2.1, if I view a contact (say named "xyz") and press back, it takes me to the starting list of contacts but no such problem was there in 1.6 version. That is after I press back, it took me to the same list of contacts I was viewing earlier (in this case xyz,xy** etc.)
Does anybody know how to sync facebook pics with contacts, even though your contacts have nicknames? I have tried the facebook app "sony ericsson contacts" and it doesnt work. Tried to merge contacts manually on the phone but then my contacts shows their facebooknames and not their nicknames.
